It is a huge difference. For viewers maybe it doesn't matter. But the new regulation allows only 40 ep max. That's why we're seeing all these new series as Part 1 and Part 2. It mostly affects the release date. I don't know if it's really 50 ep then it has to go through edits to divide into 2 parts. That means later release date.
