FYI dubbing in China is not about the voice but to make sure everyone speak in one standard dialect. There are hundred of dialects in China, and imagine actors/actresses from many different parts from China in one drama/movie without dubbing ... Also, it is difficult to get a good sound quality when you film outside and most of historical dramas of course have outdoor setting. It needs a lot of work to "clean" the background noise.
