I'm not sure my mind and heart can take Kla going down the path of irredeemable today because then I have to stew in character loathing for an entire week. Him asking for Khim to not sue Claire in exchange for the divorce papers was like a hot knife to the heart (mine and hers). I have a lump in my throat for Khim. I hope she can let go of him...and VERY SOON.
Seems like an 11 ๐ Kla still needs ๐๐๐ And not Saikhim putting everyone else before herself ๐ The…
Yes! He's being so selfish. I can really see how he's using Claire, which would be okay with me if she was an unlikable SFL character we often find in many dramas. However, she's quite cute and naive. The way he seemed upset with actually getting what he wants regarding making Khim talk Claire into coming back - he's playing a very dangerous game which will most likely backfire.
Who else only got three hours sleep because you were running over different Kla and Khim scenes in your mind until you had to go on YouTube to see if any new spoilers dropped. Just me? Okay ๐

Okay...now I've just upped my groveling/begging/crying expectations from the ML in the next episodes. I did sort of see this coming because he seems to care about Claire a lot. I'm not a fan of weaving SFL romance into the story line. I'm too much of a DEVOTED romantic where the ML can ONLY care about one lead the entire time. It's not realistic, I know.

The leads got back together after a lot of angst, had some of the sweetest moments together, and then the writers tore them apart again. In the very end, they didn't even have a hugging scene. Although The Autumn Ballad truly is one of my favorite dramas (mainly because of Jeremy Tsui's voice - good gracious), it did come with some flaws.

Oh, I really hope the writers donโt mess this up. I loved The Autumn Ballad, but they messed up the ending enough, the writers actually came out publicly and apologized to the viewers.

I want to remain optimistic; however, I'm not entirely convinced Kla is through with hurting Khim. There are way too many episodes left. He seems to care a lot for Claire which makes me wonder if he might have to choose between the two of them.
If it comes down to him struggling with his choice, I'll be very annoyed and disappointed.
The thing that annoys me the most is how he accuses Khim of cheating on him, but Khim thought he was dead. Kla was still alive and started dating Claire even though he was still married to a wife he knew was still alive.
Sorry...Kla has been on my NAUGHTY list for a few episodes, and I'm still waiting for him to do something to redeem himself.

Do you have a link of the light novels? I'd LOVE to be able to read them. It's interesting what you say about the graphic scenes in novels. I believe editors are driven by current market trends. 50 Shades shook up EVERYTHING in romance writing.
Oh...and Thank you! I believe Writer's Doubt is worse and more detrimental to a writer than Writer's Block. If you can find a way, discover something to inspire/energize your inner writer. Asian Dramas inspire me, although I find myself watching them more than typing out a chapter on my laptop :-)

You made me smile!! It's mostly a hobby really, to feed my obsession with romance. When I retire from my regular job, I'd love to work and assist aspiring writers. I'll send you a direct message. :-)

Reading Lisa Kleypas, Judith McNaught, and Johanna Johanna Lindsey are the reasons I became an historical romance writer. I was so enthralled and emphatically in love with the way they could weave a story.
With 7 episodes left I'm inclined to think it's not Khim's original letter. I just saw a clip of Mario and Yaya…
Iโm inclined to think the same. It seems too early for them to find out the truth and reconcile. Maybe reading the โwrongโ letter again is what drives him over the edge to propose what he didโฆdivorce exchange for a night with him. Just my thoughts.
Reading the comments below. Ha ha โฆ now I guess I know why itโs called โBad Romeoโ ^^โ
This truly has been one of the best forums I've been on talking/obsessing about a series. I think I'm going to miss discussing Bad Romeo on here as much as I'm going to miss waiting for the next episode to drop.

(As translated)
Yaya: "Saikhim maybe not want him (Kla/Carl) to come back to her life. She might go to meet another.
Mario: How dare you deny him??
Oh, I'm dying.
