Because there's a post about keluli and EY fans "fight ", here is the entire story, step by step:- XHS…
I appreciate reading the timeline of events that have unfolded over the past few days. While the directive to "Do Not Engage" can be quite frustrating, there comes a point where remaining silent is no longer an acceptable option. Sometimes, speaking up becomes necessary.
Jackie Chan once shared, “I allowed myself to be bullied because I was scared and didn’t know how to defend myself. I was bullied until I prevented a new student from being bullied. By standing up for him, I learned to stand up for myself.” This quote highlights how supporting others can empower us to find our own voice and strength.
From personal experience, I can confirm that music typically requires at least a week for review and approval. I know someone who recently uploaded their music to several platforms, and this timeline held true in their case.
It is unfortunate that MDL allows articles to be published which incite fan wars and encourage fans to criticize actresses while the site itself seems to take pleasure in the chaos. What was once my favorite place to discuss dramas has now become a platform I prefer to avoid. If anyone wonders what fuels fan wars, it is sites like MDL that publish articles designed to provoke conflict and fan the flames.
Recapping 2025, I believe Love's Ambition will take Best Drama of the Year award for me. It truly had everything a romance addict like me looks for in a series: angst, romance, phenomenal acting, chemistry, comic relief, second chances, and a redeeming male lead. I've tried to start a few other dramas, but kept coming back to rewatch this where the acting, directing, and constant moving forward without stagnating kept me wanting more. I hope for 2026, I can find another drama I love as much as this one.
It's too fake and perfect to give it all 10, I think that's too much. There are even a lot of manufacturing defects.…
Who are you to judge my 10? There were aspects of this drama I absolutely loved. There is no one drama that is perfect, but if the drama pulls me into the story, if I feel compassion and excitement for the characters, if I want to rewatch it more times than three times, if I find myself thinking about it long after it's ended, then it deserves a 10.
This drama delivers so many twists and turns, you want to immediately jump into the next episode. Although some didn't appreciate the comedic elements, I thought is was brilliantly done and placed in the drama. It wasn't like the entire series was full of laughs, there were just several minutes woven into the scenes to help show how the main leads remove their masks and then figure out how to fit back into each other's life again.
Looking back, I have my favorite episodes. I did love them all, the beginning episodes because of the world building around the FL's struggles and pain and motivations. The divorce was heartbreaking, but then, there was episode 20 which left me with the most incredible energy after watching. My face hurt from smiling.
Also, Ep 27 of the lead's reconciliation was so powerful and beautifully done. And they happened to do this in one of the most picturesque village's I've ever seen. My dream is to one day visit there. Then, then ending brought so much closure. Like I've read from passerby's on other platforms, the ending brings a lot of closure and healing from past pain and hope to the current and next generation. The HE is so very satisfying
Just a well rounded, beautiful drama. 10/10 (Full Review in Review Section).
OMG! Ep 20 has to be one of my favorite episodes so far. Although I've loved all the episodes up to this point in their own way, I found myself absolutely immersed in the husband and wife working together for their own purposes.
Their masks-off moment on the balcony where the truth of the ML's past is shared without prejudice or judgement was healing and therapeutic. I also appreciate learning a little bit of Chinese tradition regarding the husband painting the wife's eyebrows. That was a beautiful moment.
And when Steve tries to expose their fake reconciliation by dragging everyone into their hotel room and the camera pans down to the lingerie and puffy pink hand cuffs, I couldn't stop laughing. Actually, both Mr. and Mrs. Shen seemed a bit surprised by the 'What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas' motif. The laugh out loud moment was, after everything is explained:
Xu Yan scolds Steve, "You ruined my husband's surprise." Mr. Shen quickly consoles his wife: "It's okay. Maybe next time." Absolutely the best dialogue, and I just can't stop wanting to see 60 more episodes of this couple.
I also shouldn't have forgotten the hottest impromptu kissing scenes I've seen in a while or the 'will you forgive me' moment the ML shared in front of a few strangers. Xu Yan may have thought it was for show, but Mr. Shen's look and words seemed heartfelt and sincere.
Maybe he's cold to her to dissuade her from trying to win him over, again... or he could be testing her, again...…
I believe he's convinced himself she doesn't love him, and he in turn has convinced himself he doesn't love her. He didn't destroy their wedding picture, he hid it. Like he's hiding his feelings for her. When he realizes he's lost her, well...I really can't wait for those episodes. I can't describe how insanely good this drama is. Every episode builds upon the other. When the music starts to play at the end of each episode, I'm like, Noooooooo!"
I never thought I'd ever write this sentence regarding one of my all time favorite dramas, but I really love this couple so much, I can't wait until their post divorce arc.
I actually really like Wan Peng. She was so adorable in My Girlfriend is an Alien. I think her character here is very level headed and so far, seems to be wanting to heal her relationship with her sister.
Isn't ML supposed to be a veteran actor? Is it his character, or does he just suck in this one? Bro doesn't suit…
I disagree. William Chan is nailing his role. His character is so complex and three-dimensional, I can't even guess what he's up to from one episode to the next.
Favorite line in EP 2: "Only by staying on the starting line will I get the chance to run." How incredible is this, especially when we see Xu Yan constantly being pulled and pushed off the starting line to make way for someone else. She just wants a chance to Shine Brilliantly.
I love how this drama doesn't dump Xu Yan's backstory all at once. We watch it woven into many scenes, the build up both impactful and memorable. We become entangled in the FL's scheming rooting for her and nervous as hell she may get discovered.
In EP 4, I cried halfway through, especially when she confronts her father's decision to keep her from taking the entrance exam. Once again, she is pushed off the starting line to make room for her sister. Her crying was gut-wrenching. Zhao Lusi doesn't just shed a few tears, she sobs, hiccups, and can barely catch her breath trying to get her point across.
So far, this is a beautifully crafted drama. Every episode delivers intense conflict, sharp dialogue, and stellar performances, with no weak links in storytelling or execution. AND, I think the drama is just getting started as far the relationship between Xu Yan and Shen Hao Ming.
I was planning on waiting to binge watch this drama later since I like both LYN and Li Yi Tong (she's adorable), and they look to have REALLY GOOD chemistry, but now seeing so many scenes on xhs highlighting Wang You Shuo who plays Chu Gui Hong, I'm tempted to start watching now. Can anyone tell me his roll in the drama?
He fits the char perfectly. He looks manly and damn! He's HOT! those arms, that torso...I wont say more:)Trailers…
Why are so many other actresses fans worried about Lusi's ML's? They are like the annoying great aunts who come over at Thanksgiving and gossip about everyone else's lives when their own lives are a complete and utter wreck.
The trailer for this drama was like a shot of adrenaline. So many layers to unpack, so many emotions to unravel. Saying I can't wait for Love's Ambition is an understatement. Zhao Lusi NEVER disappoints in her roles. Instead of playing a character, she become them until you find yourself inside the story, right along with her.
