I never thought I'd ever write this sentence regarding one of my all time favorite dramas, but I really love this couple so much, I can't wait until their post divorce arc.

I disagree. William Chan is nailing his role. His character is so complex and three-dimensional, I can't even guess what he's up to from one episode to the next.

Favorite line in EP 2: "Only by staying on the starting line will I get the chance to run." How incredible is this, especially when we see Xu Yan constantly being pulled and pushed off the starting line to make way for someone else. She just wants a chance to Shine Brilliantly.

I love how this drama doesn't dump Xu Yan's backstory all at once. We watch it woven into many scenes, the build up both impactful and memorable. We become entangled in the FL's scheming rooting for her and nervous as hell she may get discovered.

In EP 4, I cried halfway through, especially when she confronts her father's decision to keep her from taking the entrance exam. Once again, she is pushed off the starting line to make room for her sister. Her crying was gut-wrenching. Zhao Lusi doesn't just shed a few tears, she sobs, hiccups, and can barely catch her breath trying to get her point across.

So far, this is a beautifully crafted drama. Every episode delivers intense conflict, sharp dialogue, and stellar performances, with no weak links in storytelling or execution. AND, I think the drama is just getting started as far the relationship between Xu Yan and Shen Hao Ming.

I was planning on waiting to binge watch this drama later since I like both LYN and Li Yi Tong (she's adorable), and they look to have REALLY GOOD chemistry, but now seeing so many scenes on xhs highlighting Wang You Shuo who plays Chu Gui Hong, I'm tempted to start watching now. Can anyone tell me his roll in the drama?

Why are so many other actresses fans worried about Lusi's ML's? They are like the annoying great aunts who come over at Thanksgiving and gossip about everyone else's lives when their own lives are a complete and utter wreck.

The trailer for this drama was like a shot of adrenaline. So many layers to unpack, so many emotions to unravel. Saying I can't wait for Love's Ambition is an understatement. Zhao Lusi NEVER disappoints in her roles. Instead of playing a character, she become them until you find yourself inside the story, right along with her.

The poster wrote, this is 'just my theory' so please take what they said as malicious untruths. Hate is an ugly mistress. To bring Zhao Lusi into a page that has nothing to do with her is absolutely irresponsible, petty, and unfair to this drama. However, I felt the need to clarify for the integrity of EVERY actress in C Ent who deserves not to be slandered without proof, on a "theory", and on a drama page that has nothing to do with her.

Zhao Lusi fell very ill toward the end of the shooting of the Almost Lover drama after many, many problems with the production and script. In a post shortly after the incident, she was upfront about her depression that was attributed to verbal and physical abuse that happened to her during her younger years and while she was with her prior agency.

On that last day, her body shut down where she suffered from conversion disorder. I work in health education, so I've discovered more of how and why this happens to a person, and it's absolutely HORRIFIC. I would never want this on my worst enemy. During her hospitalization, she was advised not to return to work for six months. She is also taking medication which affects her ability to remember lines.

And the ps bs has already been DEBUNKED at nauseum.

I do apologize if my reply has offended anyone of the drama, but please understand I'm very tired of posters like this who have really ruined a lot of our C Drama Watching experience. I like LYN VERY MUCH, and I hope this is a successful drama for his sake.

First, it's best not to watch or read so much from sites and accounts who hate her . They will twist her pivoting on her foot to her causing global warming or something. They prey on people who can't judge for themselves.

Having depression doesn't mean you retreat into a cave until you feel better. I've mentioned this often on other platforms, but one artist who has struggled with severe depression since the 80's is 20-time Grammy Award Winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Bruce Springsteen.

MDL has really become the tabloid magazine of the 1980's. I'm surprised an article hasn't been written about Lee Min Ho becoming the father of an extra terrestrial baby after filming his latest drama.

Lusi, or any celebrity should not be made to be anyone's clickbait on a website that was at first meant for everyone to share their enthusiasm for dramas.

They did such a wonderful job introducing her, and I loved her photos. Lusi looked as beautiful as ever. I've already asked for a pair for my birthday and to complete my New Year's Resolution to get out and walk more.
