Ignore ratings on MDL, some of my favorite dramas have 8 or below 8, if i trusted MDL ratings i'd never find them...also it's too early and there's very few people who rated it, wait till it finishes.
since youku is so terrible at promoting our drama i hope we can all do our best to talk about it and tell people to watch!!! also to anyone not watching because of cgi, it's not bothering me, it's clearly low budget but youku doesn't always have the best cgi imo and yet it has had great dramas, but it's not even bothersome, you might even like it, don't listen to what people say without trying...so give it a chance!
We won't know till it finishes airing!The book is a HE, but so was the book TTEOTM was based on, so who knows…
pretty sure the TTEOTM book actually had two endings, one bad one happy...they chose the bad one, this one only has a happy one just like most if not all of the author's books
I just wanna say I hope people stop a bit with the comparison with TTEOTM in a negative way, it's fine and totally understandable that some want to fill the void, but please don't expect this to be exactly the same just with a happy ending. Every drama and even all xianxias are different from each other and that's fine!
I personally love that so far BFTB has both wuxia and xianxia elements and it feels very refreshing and different than most of the xianxias I watched so far. I still get vibes from other xianxias, especially the ones that were based on the same author's works like LBFAD but it still remains a unique and different drama, so I hope we can all see it as one :)
Personally I love it so far and hope we'll get more people watching and commenting because it really deserves, especiallly because Youku seems to have treated it like trash tbh compared to how it advertised other xianxias...

Don't worry guys, this is not the first outro to end unhappilly, doesn't mean something lol of course there will be tragic things but i doubt the author who's one of the writers here would change her happy ending into a tragic one...she gave her story a happy ending, why change it now?
Also I always love how in Jiu Lu Fei Xiang's novels and dramas, there's this theme of certain "creatures" who are seen as terrible and evil and the FL is against that idea and wants to help them ❤
Sad that most people don't seem to get Ji Soo Hoo as a character, when the drama did a great job in portraying all his strugles and why he acts the way he does...he's also not a jerk nor "possesive" like the tag says, to me that's so incorrect and I feel like it turns some people off...especially because the "weak female lead" tag is also there and I'm like how is she even weak, should she carry a sword with her or something? lol anyway I just love them and I think not many people get these characters and it's sorta a misunderstood drama because people won't even try it because of comments and how it's "advertised"
The first scene of episode 11 along with the almost drowning scene are the best of the show. I wish the entire show kept the quality of those 2 scenes. Anyway I love WinTeam still, think they deserved a better show but I love them and I'll miss them.
I can just tell that Yura is once again a b-tch in this one.

I do understand that Team needs it, it's not that I have an issue with the characters, Win and Team are both my babies, it's not their fault, they're fictional but still LMAO, the issue is the writers dragging this, Win could've confessed tonight or well, HE DID confess one moment and the next the writers suddenly decide to ruin it, and especially ruin a scene we all loved for years bcs to me this scene has been the best since UWMA and it meant something different, not just more angst, it was an important scene, now they decided to make it into nothing basically since again it ended up in them not communicating and once again...angst. Angst is great but as a writer you need to know when it makes sense to put it and when it's time to let your characters move forward.

It's OOC for Win to not go after him and to also not say anything because literally a minute ago he basically confessed...we knew this scene from UWMA and it really wasn't supposed to be this way and it doesn't fit to be this way...they just had to add random drama just to drag everything, I'll just ignore it tbh, I'm staying with the UWMA version.
These writers fail to understand that we loved WinTeam already and that we know they love each other and we know it's serious and we also see it in every scene for the past 10 episodes, there's no point in dragging them "making it official" anymore. Yes, at first, of course you can have the fear and the doubts and all when it goes from casual to serious, but at this point, they have said and done SO MANY things that their relationship is so serious and it's clear they both don't have someone else above each other and yet one episode they act like a married couple of 30 years and the next they fight because Win suddenly couldn't admit it's serious even though his actions speak way more anyway but Team apparently still needs him to answer at this exact moment otherwise they're over??? Even though he also literally told him A MINUTE AGO, that he won't go anywhere and that he'll always be with him??? I just don't get it. I love WinTeam a lot and some of their scenes seperately are still amazing but the show is a mess at this point.
