Those were the parts that made me cry the most when I was listening to the novel and all of it were not in the drama. Also, they didn't say what happened in the investigation with the CM Program and whether NYS went back to be a doctor. \i msy need to rewatch the ending again.

After 28 episodes, why do I have more questions than answers LOL. Hope everything gets resolved properly and not rushed.

I know most people hate the dad but I don't think he is 100% evil. I still think there's something we don't know about FL's father's death. I'm just glad I have no hatred towards any character in this drama🙂

This drama is definitely doing its job. I don't mind sharing my opinion, however it is a bit draining at the end of the day lol. I also have a family to take care of so I think it's best that I take it less seriously and just enjoy the drama as I have other priorities. Investing too much emotions into a drama is not worth it for me :)
So far I am enjoying it and I am glad you are too.

I think we are discussing an issue that is not even a big deal compare to what's coming up next lol. We can argue all day on what ML or FL should do, however, if they did everything right and there was no misunderstandings then there wouldn't be anything to watch haha. Let's continue to watch and enjoy the drama. I hope we will both be satisfied with the ending.

He went to his friend for help first but his friend told him to go see his father if he wants to find the best lawyer for her, since, his father's company works with the best lawyers in town. Like you said his father is ruthless and probably uses this opportunity to make her sign something in the next episode (sigh).

As for the dad being in the son's room. I felt the same as you when I saw the scene, but how do you tell him to stop seeing his grandson without upsetting him, which can make his condition worse. I think ML did it discreetly by saying that he will accompany his son and tells his father to go back to his room. What I like about the ML's character is that he will not jump to conclusions and ruin his relationship with his father and FL until he knows all the information.
Also, with ML's dad's disease, I don't think he has much time left. I don't even know why he wants to fight. He should just enjoy his time with his grandson and forget about the rest.

I see what you mean and I guess I can understand her perspective. I just think that she should have more trust in the ML since he's been honest with her and has done a lot for her and their son. Anyways I hope they will get through their issues and give us a happy ending.

And you're right she probably consider SML as her friend so she went to him for help. I probably would have done the same thing. But since I read the book, he does not have any good intentions helping her. Maybe the drama will be different.

In my opinion, she did not go to the SML for an objective perspective from an outsider because the person would have to hear both sides of the story to be objective. She is looking for him for professional ways to deal with the custody battle with the MLs father.

I don't think ML has to pick sides. Both FL and ML's father has to compromise and allow both to have a relationship with the little boy. They should all think of what's best for the child and not what they want.
If her reason for not communicating with ML is because she thinks that he's not going to take her side then in my opinion that's not right either.

I disagree with you that ML is weak. If you think about it his father is sick. He has liver cancer where the survival rate is very low. How much time does he have left to spend with his grandson. The relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is so pure. You cannot deny that the grandfather loves this little boy with all his heart.

If he tries to take full custody and not allow her to see her child again (which he did in the book) then he is definitely in the wrong. He has no right to do that and ML would not allow him to do that. In any case, the child is ML and FL so he doesn't really have a say. If ML doesn't want to do it then he can't do anything about it.

Like I said the whole story about FL's father's death is still not clear and therefore ML wants to investigate and understand the whole story rather than just listening to what others' say and start pointing fingers at his own father.

There seems like there is a lack of communication with the FL. Rather than talking to ML about how to deal with his father and the whole custody thing, she went to SML for help. Getting a stranger involved in your family affairs is probably not a great idea. I don't think the ML did anything wrong to make her not trust him.

Obviously, if there was clear communication and understanding then we wouldn't have a "drama" to watch lol. I am not trying to argue with you but just trying to share some of my thoughts. Hoping that by the end of this drama, everything will be clearer and everyone will have their happy ending :)

After 18 episodes I still feel like I don't know enough to make a comment on who's right and who's wrong. I still feel like there's more we need to know and find out. Therefore, I am keeping my feelings to myself until I can make a real judgement. I did enjoy the interactions between NYS and his son. I hope their bond will grow stronger.

This little boy is so adorable just because he has the same hairstyle as my son lol. The only time I cried in this drama is when he told his mom that he wants to go back home because he knows that they do not have enough money to stay at the hospital. Such a thoughtful child at his age.

He ended up getting sick and died. So, he did not win. A little background on the grandfather is that he came from a poor family and build up his company from nothing. To be competitive in the business world, he became ruthless and did things that you could say were illegal to succeed. As he gets older, he does realize the importance of family but I don't know why he hates the FL so much (maybe because she changed his son and the complicated relationship with her parents). Anyways, to me no one wins in this situation. I hope they both resolve their issues for ML and the little boy. A happy family is what they both need :)

In the novel he was not a good guy at all. If you remember the fight scene in the hospital, he actually hit her on purpose in front of everyone and did not apologize. He didn't really have a relationship with the son in the novel, so him leaving was a good thing.

I agree with you 100%. There better be more to this. We can argue that she was young and immature back then but now they are both adults. Why continue with the pain? She's not only hurting him but also herself. They both suffered enoughfor 7 friggin years. It just doesn't make sense to me.
