I tuned in thinking this was gonna be terrible It’s actually pretty good even if a little bit predictable. They are pulling it off. Plus, I get to play the Phaphrai head rub drinking game and am guaranteed to get just a little saucy most episodes

Really love the soundtrack, it makes me feel the show was made for me.
I was just thinking that not since the Eight Sense...and maybe Gel Boys...have I heard such cool soundtrack music.

Wow. Japan's answer to Gel Boys. This show has some 'tude. It's nice to BL's breaking the mould

I went back to Season 1 to rewatch because I forgot how much I enjoy watching these two. The "break-up"…
Love your comments. I was thinking "how meta" as I watched that TV break-up scene.

As far as sequels go, this season so far improves on a really solid season one. But the improvement reminds me of Love Class to Love Class 2, which got so much better. BL sequels are hard. So far, this one pulls it.

Wow. it’s so good to see such production value in a BL.

I'm going to savor every second of every minute of this drama. The last time I was so excited about a BL drama…
my favorite of the BL drama era. such a daring show.

I agree with you to some extent. It's not the story I have the problem with. The suspension of disbelief required…
like the earlier twist involving the sister as the other woman

I thought episode three was really creative. I love way the story intertwined with the writing brainstorm for the sequel and the meta payoff at the end of the ep. the call back to the orange juice bit from season one was Creative as well it’s been a year and I haven’t re-watched. I’m just wondering if this season two is more overly comic than the first one

I didn’t read the original, but this show is clearly produced to cross over and doesn’t seem to be going in the traditional BL genre direction. That said it is well cast, and the production qualitiy is high. for those of us who went to school in the real Bl world back in the day, the unrequieted crush aspect of the show does tug the heartstrings, and reminds me of the less accepting time when we mostly kept our feelings tucked away deep inside. I’m glad we’re getting a 10 episode 40 minute run time with the subject matter at least part of the plot. but for me a show like gel boys gets BL more and made the same angsty teenage drama more contemporary—moving the genre forward not backward. but I’m enjoying it on its own terms

8.2? Surely Vengeful and psychotic surgeons with poor impulse control deserve better representation.

Well said! I think it’s genius too. I’m sad it’s only 7 episodes. I’m praying for a second season.
Mandy, I just happened to run into another BL directed by a Boss. Not the Boss. But Boss like. Top Form. the directing and Style will ease the pain of Gel Boys withdrawals after Saturday’s final e. TF t has a low key and indie vibe. I think you’ll really like it. I’m praying this is a new trend because if it is, I’m all in.

My gosh! the first 2 episodes are top forming! I didn't have a high expectation from watching the trailer and…
you pulled that review right out of my brain but said it much better than I ever could. between this show and Gelboys BL is suddenly caught some real auteur directors

Boy, that sure was a pleasant surprise. Low-key and kind of indie. Well directed. Not the same “Boss” right? the whole production felt very Boss-like.

This feels really fresh. I Love how for his first series the director is able to show his own style. For example…
I agree with you. any director named Boss is putting out good work these days

It's now been several hours after I posted my initial comment right after watching ep 6...and nope, that spastic…
so well said. this is not about happily ever after it’s about awkward teenage life on steroids amplified in digital dystopia or colorful paradise.. or both that’s for the audience to decide
