what exactly is the purpose of this drama? it has absolutely fantastic cinematography and direction but there is no real plot. it's indeed true that I completed it rather quickly but the thing is, all the time I was waiting for something to happen. the revenge. the climax. some kind of plot twist. SOMETHING. but guess what, nothing happened. everybody just got their sweet little "happy ending".
the acting was decent at best but didn't make up for the shallow plot. they just tried to be many things but failed miserably at almost everything. the revenge wasn't revenging, the bad guys weren't that... bad? and what not.
it wasn't exactly boring though, i really liked it while it lasted but then again, i wouldn't have missed out on anything spectacular had I chosen not to watch it. it's not bad, just forgettable. on a positive note, I like the 2nd fl, the girl can act and her character was also the only one that was actually pretty well-written.
(also, the 'bully/heir' guy should be paired up with the girl from impossible heir for their next drama, they really match each others' non-existent acting skills.)
so if you have free time to kill and would like to watch a pretty softcore revenge drama, this is it. (tho i'm probably not the person to ask for recommendations)
Every dead person comes back, ridiculous.Especially Sim Sooryun was dead and comes back as Na Aegyo... I guess…
conclusion: makjangs are not for you and it's okay but it's wrongful of you to categorize it as "waste of time", 'cause there are people out there who unironically enjoy this (including me;)
I wish I could rate this drama a 1000/10 or maybe even more. It was just so good. Everything about this is perfect. Not saying that the drama is perfect, there are a few potholes and sudden storyline changes. But that didn't stop me from enjoying it to the fullest. Not even for a single minute was I bored. One of the best Kdramas I have ever watched.
