this cesspool of a comment section aside - i wonder who actually bothered to use their media literacy skills and…
tbh ep12 was full of illogical holes that i wasn't giving it my full attention (unlike previous eps) but "izmael" "paltima" "airstrike" in my brain clicked to directly relate to the ongoing crisis in gaza that my brain froze a bit (like heejoo during that broadcast) and just accepted it to keep watching. so i agree that the fact that their made up country names and scenario is too close to an existing and ongoing issue was obvious. the intent of the writer is anyone's guess, but was not a well thought out move imho.
to add, her real dad is the one in the nursing home. she was registered under the hong family after her mom married…

If im not a dylan wang fangirl will i still enjoy this?
Depends. If you like wuxia with lots of comedy mixed in with adventure, then you'll like it. If you prefer serious wuxia adventure dramas, maybe not. There are many times that makes you think "oh they are so unserious hahaha"
Tencent hasn't completely forgotten about Love Has Fireworks. It shows up in the 2025 WeTV preview for 2025.https://x.com/WeTVOfficial/status/1867781562902737370
Ah... so we'll have another monthly 🍉 release date next year
Also I don't think anyone would survive that big of a fall. Home girl is superman💀
maybe she's ultra lucky (karma would have to balance her unlucky family ties) and didn't hit rocks on the way down and just tree branches (not the trunks)
hopefully they sold the license to a good platform or at the very least fixed their subs on mgtv
but i'm loving this drama
