His birth name, Shi Qi, is a rather feminine name! I'm happy for him on the success of The Mysterious Lotus Casebook. I read an article that apparently when he was in uni, someone told him that he would never be able to make it big as an actor, told him that it's better for him to give up on acting etc. But now he has 20 million followers on weibo.

there are literaly three zombje dramas, and Idk about happy ending in alocalypse drama...
Freaking waste of time to talk to people on this site because they can't read what people are saying or/and they're freaking snowflakes.

When did I invalidate you? I was telling you NOT to invalidate others' wish for a happy ending. Get some reading comprehension and throw away that sort of strawmanning. From the very beginning, I said HAPPINESS the kdrama, is a zombie series that had a happy ending and I liked it. I did not judge you for liking your bleak endings, so don't act like a pimpernel over it. "Genre" is only a guide for the setup of a story, not the ultimate nail for any ending.

that's your opinion. and different people in the audience have different outlooks and feelings. don't invalidate someone else's wish for a happy ending just because you want a bleak ending and think it is "realistic". seriously this world has enough shit and bleakness as it is. there are people who want to retain some hope through fiction so they can go through life another day.

You know I wish kisskh would redo its programming and navigation so that "Episode Guide section" can be put to use. That way, watchers who want to comment on specific episodes could just go into that section. This current lumping of ALL the comments under this box is just messy, slow-loading, and frustrating. The Episode Guide section basically is EMPTY all the time so what is the point of it?

Prostitutes also consent to sleeping with guys they don't like. Would that also constitute a rape? Is it only…
LMAO WTF? Did you watch the drama? The main girl is NOT a prostitute. Why are you talking about prostitutes when I did not mention them AT ALL in my post? Are you dismissing all the harassment and sexual assaults women in this world went through? You're the perfect example of misogyny and bigotry running rampant, and the exact reason women came together to make this drama and yet the point still flew over your head. Here you go whining and screaming about how it's NOT THE GUY'S FAULT when he sticks his banana into every hole he fancies.

It's exactly the female police officer said, a rape victim to you is only a perfect victim when the situation is black and white to you. She's only considered the angelic victim when she rebuffed the guy's every action and made her position clear, as if she had every power to do that as long as she voiced her displeasure and rejection. Girls are called stupid, looked down upon when they're ignorant and scorned at, called names and if they made a mistake, they're told that they deserved to be raped.

People are quick to sympathise with those who are robbed, burglared, scammed -- in fact more people would sooner sympathise with rich corporations that lost billions for their practices rather than sympathise with rape victims.

I don't know if you're really a woman like you said you are on your profile, but if you are, then the drama also deftly showed us that there are women like you in this world who blame other women, taking the side of the dregs of society like rapists and chauvinistic men, treating them as if they're some kind of precious gemstones that are in danger of being soiled by those ~dirty stupid~ women and ~prostitutes~!!!

"Prostitutes consent to sleeping with guys they don't like!" Are you saying they don't deserve to be protected? You really sound like one of those serial killers who kill sex workers thinking their lives are worthless and that they don't have families who love them anyway.

This drama shows how predators like President Cheng are everywhere. They lie, they coerce, they rape, then they make it as if they've done nothing wrong and it's all "consensual" and they're "good guys" trying to make things right when they're just trying to protect their own ass. It gives a really realistic view of a young rape victim's environment and how that environment could influence their thoughts and impact their testimony.

i'm only on this page because i can't get over how much he resembles my cousin. <_> my cousin is married, though. anyway, none of your idolised "oppas" are squeaky clean and unproblematic. how many guys in our lives do we know that are 100% unproblematic? even some of the best guys i know in my life can be frustrating, say things that make people angry, and behave in unacceptable ways now and then. so don't put actors on a pedestal. they're just ACTING. it's a JOB. the ones you think are unproblematic in interviews had been coached by their managers. the ones who are problematic are just like any other guy out there. he's an average joe with a big bank account. that's all. you don't know them. don't idolise them. fighting over their comments or defending them is such a waste of time.

"literally 3 zombie dramas"

1. happiness
2. all of us are dead
3. sweet home
4. kingdom
5. zombie detective
6. dark hole

this list is not exhaustive. "literally 3 zombie dramas" ?? come again?

and who are talking about only dramas? there are also even more zombie movies:

1. train to busan
2. the odd family: zombie on sale
3. the peninsula
4. rampant
5. zombie school
6. #alive
7. the wailing

again, the list is not exhaustive. and i don't just watch korean zombies/monster shows 🙄

"literally 3 zombie dramas"

expecting a bleak ending in an apocalypse setting is damn boring and so typical. happiness broke that rule, which is why it was a great drama.

I like Zhang Yu Qi and Gao Wei Guang. They're the reason I started watching this drama in the first place. Zhang Yu Qi used to look fresh and trim, but she has aged significantly and gained weight that made her look bloated after giving birth to twins.

Anyway, the storyline is very basic and non-revolutionary. It's the "poor girl down on her luck who meets a rich guy who changes her world" trope. LMAO. Both the leads are a little old to be playing early 20-30 somethings but in their defence they have the acting experience to play the roles better than greenhorns. (Meteor Garden 2020 was a disaster)

Well it's not too bad, they still look pretty youthful and I'm just killing some time with this. I still recommend this drama it's actually still entertaning (I'm only at Ep 3 though)

(And I did prefer Miss S actually)
