Perfect. IT WAS PERFECT. I am crying in the middle of the afternoon watching this movie. It was emotional from the start and once I reached towards the end, my tears couldn't hold themselves in the eyes. The acting is perfect. I don't understand why it's an 8.3 rating for me it's a solid 9. Just watch it for the grandma.

Title Three-Body
Is it similar to the three-body problem on Netflix? The story seems similar in the synopsis. Can anyone tell me? I am interested in seeing this as I already saw the one on Netflix but this one I am more excited about.

Honestly, this was a very good drama, I really enjoyed each episode. It had almost perfect balance of comedy, romance, suspense and plot armour. I put it on hold to watch but I am glad I watched it. It was really well-written drama with pretty good plot twists. The leads were pretty good with their chemistry, including the secondary couple. The drama did take the liberty of inspiration from some dramas of similar storylines but for some scenes, especially the rooftop scene, it felt straight from Goblins tbh, but still, it was good. If you just want a casual drama with a serious plot with a good dosage of laughter and okayish romance then just go for it.

It wasn't that bad, to be honest for being rated as 8/10. I felt it was well-paced, and yes I enjoyed the drama till episode 12 a lot, didn't skip a bit, and the office people, secondary couple and the overall plot were engaging enough. I went through episodes 13 and 14 and was back enjoying the last two episodes as well. Yeah, I understand it wasn't perfect, there were still some bad plot holes. But I loved one thing that all the characters were understanding their mistakes naturally it didn't seem forced. Overall it was a solid 8.5/10 for me.
The lead chemistry was well nice, not so perfect but engaging enough for me. Also, the storyline of the leads getting together and their past breakups felt personal to me so yeah it was worth watching.

I couldn't have agreed more with you, the last few episodes completely ruined it.
Yeah I actually went to see the Japanese version it was even terrible than this one so compared to that it was fine.

Honestly, it wasn't bad for a short cdrama. I mean yes there were cliche scenes, and yes it wasn't perfect, but it was the really sweet 12-minute episodes which are perfect for a weekend 2 hours slot. The lead chemistry was spot on, really loved them very much. I will probably explore more of these lead dramas. Overall it's a solid 8.5/10 for me.

this drama was literally a 10/10 until the last 3 or 4 eps...why does this happen so often.. ugh
I couldn't have agreed more with you, the last few episodes completely ruined it.

On Tell Me That You Love Me May 18, 2024
I genuinely enjoyed it till episode 12, and then it felt that it had to follow the classic Kdrama scheme of a breakup in episodes 13-15 things like, I didn't feel the break-up was necessary from the start to episode 12 always showed them together and it felt emotional and good seeing them like that, but why to do this stupid unnecessary breakup and mixing up so many side characters together. Also why so rushed ending, just could have dealt with the things in episode 16 in the previous one and made the last half of episode 16 much better. The title was Tell Me That You Love Me, and they did that well in the first half and then forgot to say that in the last episode, I was so in love with this drama that I felt it would have a smooth ending but hell no. Why do the writers tend to ruin a perfectly going drama so badly too? I am so disappointed by the stupid ending rush.

Well, to be honest, I went in to see this with zero expectation, and well it wasn't that bad as the comment section is crying about. I was good. It felt similar to Mysterious Love. But I did enjoy the 16 episodes, and the lead chemistry was nice, the father character was kind of messed up written but overall it was quite good. I also liked the OSTs, they were shooting, just give it a try, it may not be amazing but it is still good or at least binge-watchable.

About to start the drama, just two questions, happy endings? And any love triangles? You can spoil me with the episode numbers as well. Will start it after knowing the answer..... Thanks in advance.

Edit : I watched it now, it was okay, didn't hook me so much but it wasn't bad. Just I didn't likesome of the plot elements. Also the secondary couple was so much fun to watch than the leads, my opinion.

I liked the drama, it was something refreshing. Also, the initial episodes were quite the tissue box. I enjoyed the concept of the drama. yes, the story had some flaws, but overall it was nice. Just one complaint, I wanted more for the police officer's wife's story, she needed to see her husband once more at least somehow, then, she would have moved forward better, but I guess they had to do some closing so fine. For me all the last memory stories were excellent but I loved the first couple's story and the twin brother's story, they were emotional ones.

I have encountered worse parents in present day society. Since I don't know how far you are in the drama, I don't…
Yeah I understand what you are saying in all the situation. She has her own personality and in all the cases she was actually or most of the cases trying to protect her daughter, but in her own way. And yes for the first marriage she refused her daughter to be a concubine and or equal wife, and for that I agree with her. Even when they both slapped the family and were doing the duo thing, it was really nice to watch them on the same side.
But if my memory serves correctly, she says tk her sworn sister that I have disciplined soilders in the training camp and why can't I do that for NN. And she uses military standards for disciplining her daughter, which made the things worse. My point is she never tried to understand her daughter's life or perspective from the past 15 years when she left her and went. She just felt that whatever happens after 15 years she will come and just inject herself in NN's life which was not gonna happen that easily.
Because when we she how the Empress treats NN and make her disciplined and teaches her the things NN understand and does that, it felt like she was more of a motherly figure for her than her own mother. And when finally she learns becomes calm and composed, her mother is feeling jealous of the empress and is now regretting that she didn't do it correctly. I mean that's what NN also tried to say her multiple time that you need to understand me and then discipline me.
I understand she had her past but for that doing it for your daughter was something which was uneasy for me to see. And as per the last part of your comment, if the person is your own family member, then saying the truth is sometimes is harsh, and yes it shouldn't matter, but she failed to explain the reason for the truth as well, about her non presence and how it impacted NN.
I mean yeah all in the end she becomes the ideal mother figure for her NN, but yeah there were places where I really really hated her character.

I have actually finished the drama, but yes I understand the perspective you are trying to tell, but still I will criticize her for the things she did to FL. I was so angry when she downgraded her daughter so much in front of the entire emperor family when ML asked her hand in marriage, it was like final nail in the coffin. I only had one regard that you only left her and just a basic conversation should have solved many thing which she latter did once she realized her daughter is gonna leave her for good to the palace. Then she started being sorry and feeling bad for her own daughter rather than Yang Yang. It was still a conflict for me. I just wanted a little more story to the mother-daughter thing, in the entire drama I felt it was only thing that was not closed for me as per plot.

I'm sorry, there really is no explanation in future episodes. except for what was mentioned early on that she'd…
Thanks that majorly explains her behavior and the rudeness she showed, only to realize she will lose her daughter when she left for the palace, yeah I finished the drama and after from a few scenes she actually never showed regrets, only towards the end she somehow started liking her daughter. I felt like that was one loose end or not a plot closure for me in this drama.

No don't. The best part of love story is in those episodes, I don't wana give spoilers, but it was the really important part of the relationship.

The best periodic and historic cdrama I ever watched. Dude, you need a lot of patience for this series but it's worth it. I enjoyed every episode, it was like the story was written just to enjoy it. Like each plot element, the couples, break ups, triangles etc etc, all made this series the best for me. And yeah the palace politics was too much complicated at a point but it was delightful. I loved the emperor's character it was so funny and lovable. and ML and FL, the chemistry is top class; the looks between them are top notch. I usually see all the dramas of ZS, she is super talented.
I have been holding it off due to its length but I binge-watched it in 3 days, and worth it.

Just go for it if you haven't seen it. You will love it. Just keep in mind, that you need to have patience for the first 6/7 episodes, the story builds up and the romance is slow burn so yeah it takes time, but it's the magic in that only.

I am watching this one currently, I am just literally pissed off at her mother. like WTF. WTF wtf. She only left her and now is blaming her for being like the way she is? I mean lady do you hear yourself? Like you don't even deserve to say anything. I just hope she has a better explanation for it in the further episodes. How bad a mother can be to her own child?
