What about a BL show like "Word of Honor", or "Untamed", or the popular, suspenseful "Killer and Healer"?

I respectfully disagree.
I am a TOTAL fluffy romance junkie.(I am over 30)
I feel that because someone is younger and may prefer fluff, it doesn't mean that the majority of them won't have patience or understand the content.
They can be well rounded and enjoy it, even though it may not be their favorite genre.
for example: if I am in line at the grocery store and I see 2 different packs of gum. They are "Bubble Yum", and " Artic Mint" flavored Extra, and I choose the bubble gum when after the fact I ended up wishing I had gotten the other flavor.
It just means that I changed my mind, pure and simple.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Here's my question:
CSS's family was given the betrothal gifts.
When the engagement was broken off, Granny threw a fit and kept saying that everything was hers.
Wouldn't the gifts gone to the head of the house?
I mean had it not been called off.

I agree. Also I think it's CSS VEIW of how things are.
She impulsively reacts right away instead of giving her mom a chance to deal with things. Being a general, her mom would have dealt with situations strategically with a big smackdown later.
She makes the assumption that she can only count on herself, before she even gets to know her mother.

When the emperor met CSS and knew that LBY loved her he was so excited, but yet then he's telling her that it's her fault that LBY's being beaten?
And the Empress kicks her out of the palace?
Ouch!
I wonder how it will be all smoothed over...

I haven't read the book, so I wouldn't know, but I am just wondering how something sweet is coming. 😔

I believe it's because 3rd prince was drunk and acted inappropriately with CSS, so LBY had him bound and whipped..

What does everyone think about the previews that came out on episodes 37 and 38?

I started this last night and I'm on episode 7. (Although I have watched all the trailers and clips out there.)Can I just nodd in agreement with everyone that good old Grandma is and was getting on my last nerve by the end of the 2nd episode.

when her 1st betrothal is broken off, why does her grandmother freak out about the gifts going back?
After all, she's the grandmother, not CSS's parents - and remember women back then had absolutely no rights so the gifts in the 1st place would have gone to the father, I think.

You know, I must say that there are some good slaps in this drama.
But I would really like to see you know- red hand prints, welts or redness afterwards!
