I've been really surprised about some of the haters thoughts about ZLS.
She's playing a fictional character and someone else is DIRECTING how she's playing that character.
It's her job, not her. 🤬

I agree 💯... however, (and I'm not trying to bash China in any way) awhile back I saw a video (recorded by a man's security camera) of a domestic violence case and the police pretty much blamed the woman and made her take some course because of it!Their little toddler was there to witness it, as well as the husbands mother.All she did was get the kid out of the way as this man is choking his wife.His punishment? He was suspended by his job.Even that was only because of netizens outrage on Weibo.So even though it's 2022, China still has many backward viewpoints that discount women completely and sometimes, not at all.I was actually thinking about moving to China for a year, but this video has made me change my mind completely.

He should have given her a female guard as one of her ladies in waiting.

It depends on what your in the mood for, and if you want a short drama or a long one. My 1st drama with ZLS was TLB and she's my favorite actress in cdramas.
For a modern drama I loved Stealth Walker with (my boyfriend Zheng Yecheng 🤭) For costume I loved The story of Yanxi Palace, Long Ballad, and Rebel Princess. On the shorter, fluffier side, My Sassy Princess (my all time favorite, 2nd to YP), A Female Student Arrives At The Imperial College, Love of Thousand Years, Love Better than Immortality and there was a new one I enjoyed called The Legendary Life of Queen Lau.

🙏 PLEASE spoil for me who dies.
I need to prepare emotionally if it's one of my favorite characters. lol...
