He didn't have a clue.He honestly thought they would sail off into the sunset at that point.THEN... literally the night he married her Bihong poisoned Emperor - which means FJM is the one who is poisoned. There wasn't a cure so he was going to die.That's why he exposed her to the Emperor. To protect her.
