I know I like Mike Angelo in his other dramas, but he does not match here with Ju Jingyi. I dropped this halfway. I only enjoyed watching him in 'My Little Princess', not much in Amazing Boyfriend 2 since I still preferred Season 1. The only time I find this bearable every time is when Ju Jingyi shows her emotional acting through her eyes. I believe Mike is a good actor, but his character clashes with Jingyi. I'm too used to Jingyi's characters always making every single episode of a drama a climax. She makes you feel as if you wanted to watch her more and anticipate the next episode. Not just the plot of the story is dragging, it is also boring with a repeated cycle to certain episodes. No matter how much you choose good/excellent actors, the director should've made a better script and partnered with the right actors. Most of the time, she matches her leading man, but this one series failed. As much as they are cute together, matching a comedic and Queen of Tears with an Ice Cold Knight and Prince is not good. I watched this a long time ago, but I will rewatch it for the sake of Jingyi's acting skills. Seriously, Mike should be an action star.
