A good entertaining drama. The way Honey Lee speak Vietnamese's so funny. I feel it has helped me relieve stress after a working day. Sometimes I need dramas like this, even though there are some parts where it looks pretty ridiculous and weird.
It's really hard to watch a good drama with an actor or actress that you really don't like to see on your screen…
I used to be like that too, I think it's because Jeon Do Yeon has a melancholy look that made me tired and I didn't like that. But she's a great actress, so I'm still obsessed with that face after watching The Housemaid. Then I watched Way Back Home and I turn to like her. I wonder if she had a simple and funny movie, I really want to watch something like that of her. There are also some actors I think I'll never watch again because their expressions make me uncomfortable. But I think you should try Jeon Do Yeon's movies/dramas.
Aahhhhh.....after watching the 2nd ep, am I the only one who thinks Do Ji Hyuk should not be allowed to be a psychiatrist…
Yes, totally agree, he doesn't deserve to be a psychiatrist, he didn't even apologize to Yong Sik sincerely. Wasn't he aware that it could cause his patient to commit suicide?
This drama reminds me of the time when I studied and graduated from university. I'm not as bad as ML, but my best period was also my high school years, I can think about it proudly. After that, I studied in one of top universities of the country and failed many interviews to get into the university's club because of my lack of speaking skills. That time I always feel out of place and gradually become self-deprecating compared to confident and active classmates. After graduating from college, I chose a simple, low-paying job because I thought I could not do jobs like sales, banking and customs, I chose a career that made me feel shy when I met friends. I usually don't like people asking about my work. Now, I have chosen a job I love, have started a new path at the age of 26 as a web developer, I am confident even though many people around tell me this job is not suitable for women. Looking back, I feel regretful that I wasted 4 years on that self-doubt. If only I had looked back, and had the courage to renew myself sooner, I would not have wasted a few years of my youth.
After a period of boredom so I stopped watching, I returned to HP. To me, HP is like a kind, affectionate boyfriend. Although sometimes I get bored with his sweetness but when I come back he always brings to me the spring again.
Wtf? Why this has high ratings? Didn't writing of this drama really sucked bad ? This year so many dramas have…
I find you unfair to say this is a shitty drama, you are lowering the taste and perception of other viewers (who find this drama good). I think this Devil Judge is quite hard to watch just for entertainment, it also has its own meanings, conveying messages to the audience even though the script has some holes.
The last episode wasn't bad but I think it needs 1 more episode to get better. I feel that all the counterattacks from Yo Han's side all went very smoothly (maybe because the last episode was the plot of three idiots, not Sun Ah). I want to know more about Sun Ah, her past, her childhood memories with Yo Han. I think if there were those scenes, the impression of Sun Ah's death would be stronger.
Yes, this film is absolutely not bromance, at least until episode 15
Yes, the devil judge, Ga On only doubted and hurt Yo Han, not helping anything yet. If someone watched it because of bromance, it would be very frustrating. In Beyond Evil, 2 ML does a great job, they get along so well. I still can't forget the "Eat well, sleep well, poop well" scene.
Today, Yo Han made me cry a lot, the scene where he cried and begged Sun Ah was too much for me to bear. I hate Ga On and want to curse him but I also find him pitiful, by episode 15 he's still just a puppet for others to pull strings, hope he gets the proper punishment for his blindness and resigned as a judge. How can he say things like "Are you satisfied?", "You killed your brother", "You killed ABC", "Is this your plan right?" with Yo Han every time someone dies. In this episode, I realized this country has completely rotted, and as a result it must change and need new leaders. Anyway, please let Yo Han and Elijah be happy, writer!!!
I want to say how I feel about the characters. Overall, Yo Han, Sun Ah, Heo Jung Se , Cha Kyung Hee, and Elijah are very well written, while the other characters like Ga On, Min Jung Ho, Soo Hyun are a bit messy, and it annoys me at times.
Yo Han has his own beliefs and is consistent throughout the drama. Sun Ah too, I love the way she reacts to those who dare to look down on her and every time she laughs at Heo Jung Se's brainless, a character who doesn't take sides but herself. Her "human" side is very interesting. Cha Kyung Hee isn't a good person, but she is special, I like the actress who plays this role, her voice is so charming and powerful. Honestly, I'm so sorry about her death, because I couldn't hear that voice anymore. The president is funny, insignificant and despicable. Oh Jin Joo is the right person to be a judge, she is objective and has opinions, but her screen time is not much.
With Ga On, I can sympathize when he repeatedly misunderstanding Yo Han, Yo Han's ways are sometimes very extreme. But this character is fickle and unstable. He made choices, but when things go wrong, he tends to blame others. Soo Hyun too, I both like and hate her. If the scriptwriter hadn't tried to make her the best cop, it wouldn't have been so frustrating. This policewoman spends most of her time caring and protecting only a citizen named Ga On and investigating only a criminal named Yo Han =)) Neither Soo Hyun nor Ga On is suitable for a judge/police profession because they are too one-sided. If the betrayal of Ga On is not a conspiracy, then I'm completely disappointed with the character.
The character I hate the most is Ga On's teacher, Min Jung Ho. I found this man to be very hypocritical. He's a person who has power but does nothing in front of the tragedy of the country. Like So Hyun, he only focuses on a criminal named Yo Han while that tragedy existed before Yo Han held an online court. Why don't they dig up people who abuse power to do countless illegal things like Cha Kyung Hee or Heo Jung Se. If they manage the country well, how can Yo Han incite the people's hearts? But he always proved himself righteous and sacrificed a lot.
Now, I feel so sorry for Yo Han, he is also hurt, he also just lost K, but people keep blaming him and trampling on his pain.
I feel the need to express an opion reagarding Jinyoung!s actingI like his acting, I dont have any problem with…
I think Jin Young's acting is pretty good, but there are some scenes where I feel like he's lacking in originality. It makes his character seem pretty normal. I don't mean anything bad when comparing Jin Young to Yeo Jin Goo, however in Beyond Evil, Yeo Jin Goo did a great job with his role, he synergizes well with Shin Ha Kyun and his character also left an impression. I think it's because YJG has a lot of acting experience that gives him confidence and charisma. But that does't mean Jin Young is bad, he's better than most idols in acting and some young actors although he's not great, but I believe when he's experienced enough, he will be worth the audience's expectations.
I started liking her when she played A werewolf boy, I have watched this movie so many times without getting bored, I like her even more in The silenced or Hot Young Blood and On Your Wedding Day. She is a good actress. But since she chose to act in a drama, only Oh My Ghost was good, Do Bong Soon wasn't too bad (it only drops in the last episodes) Abyss or Doom were both a disappointment. The scripts was bad and although she acted well, these two characters were nothing special, it's not show off her full potential. I hope she will choose drama scripts more carefully and move on to new genres like detective, politics, slice of life... Anyway, I still trust her in the movie segment and wait for her return.
Besides Ji Sung, I also like Kim Min Jung a lot. She's an mean woman but she behaves innocently, I like her disdain expression when she looks at the minister. I admire her bravery when taking on a villain role, especially a role that is difficult for the audience to love.
This is a high quality drama. I like the way the author plays with the audience but still leaves room for us to…
If the story Yo Han told is true, then the people in the fire accident forgot about Isaac? Because they don't seem familiar with Ga On's face even though at the party (I guess) Yo Han dressed Ga On as his brother. I don't know if Ga On will become a partner and help Yo Han realize true justice or if he will manipulate Yo Han's innocence for personal gain.
Yo Han has his own beliefs and is consistent throughout the drama. Sun Ah too, I love the way she reacts to those who dare to look down on her and every time she laughs at Heo Jung Se's brainless, a character who doesn't take sides but herself.
