Near Train Wreck but, salvageable...almost
Wow. This one has taken awhile for me to get through. I need to keep taking breaks...why? In order to watch anything on TV/the screen - you have to have a suspension of disbelief...no matter what is going on you will believe it. Doctor Who hanging off the edge of a spaceship that is falling apart...no problem. The Dark Side employing an entire force of soldiers that couldn't hit the side of the Death Star if they were standing on it...no problem.
But, a condition that makes a person deaf when it rains - even if they are indoors? Really? People - this is why you should not drink and drive...drink and write screenplays...really need a date/someone and drink and go to a club...
I apologize for the disturbance in the force back in mid April of this year (for those reading this in the future)...that was me rolling my eyes when the cast made a OMG huge deal of the ML heading to the top of the mountain to listen for his soulmate alone and being out of cell phone range. They spoke of flooding...how dangerous of a walk it is...how concerned everyone was that he was making this trek all by himself and then - in every single shot (while he was walking) - he was on a two lane asphalt road with power lines in every camera shot.
You will find lots of other irritating little things during this series...ML really hates his mother and does nothing to hide it but, lived with her after the parent's divorce. Characters put in only to be loud and crass...you may need lozenges for how many times you well at the screen to tell the side characters to just stop talking...
Only grew to hate the mother more. Hated the hug everyone moment at the mom's new wedding. She betrayed the family and found a new guy. Her business and her affairs and what she thinks is always more important than anyone else's.
Honestly, the secondary character Lomfon is hotter and a better catch in every way. Patts is okay - he's rich and a nice guy but, Lomfon should have had at least two or three get wet/shower scenes like the K-Dramas do. LOL
The behind the scenes stuff is fun and almost better than the series...iQIYI fans will enjoy all the extra stuff.
