i just realised my fav character is Xijue which is kind of weird becoz oftentimes my man does not even have a backbone but ig its kindness that takes over the world;)
also what Xijue's mother did was kind of problematic, jumping in the traffic in front of your 10 year old is insane and i cant imagine the trauma Xijue has just coz of this single scene stuck in his head
my heart aches for xijue he is so so kind and Bai yu's acting is as expected phenomenal, the my girlfriend turns my aunt arc was so disturbing and everytime he called her aunt ruolin oh my god i felt bugs crawling over me ok thats exaggerated but!!!! and ep 8 was my breaking point when Nan yin fought for Xijue I was bawling my eyes out truly wonderful acting by everyone!

i think (based on all the mvs and all), dfqc had joined forces with xlh's master and changheng and he is planning on maybe sacrificing himself so that he can save his people as well as xlh. but somewhere down the line xlh will realise and as per their motto of sharing weel and woe together she will stab herself with that sword. then she'll be reborn as the goddess her new form after losing what had to be lost then ofc the memory loss track will come into play , she'll forget about him but something something related to the orchid plant and her memories will come back. they will live as a happy couple forever and ever(●'◡'●)
