I“m indeed a senior traveler, since I saw all of these but one in the year they came out :D Nobuta wo Produce was a life-changing experience. Kame and YamaPi should have ended up as a couple, no question there. And don“t ask me why i spent half the semester walking down the stairs like Akira-kun, with my hands flailing ..... KO One was one crazy ride (the sequels are still coming but are not as good) and with Mike He in all his stuff made me stick with Taiwanese dramas for a good while. Rewatching Hanadan this year again for a third time and still love this version the most. Matsujun is just too funny with his tough guy look and of course there“s Ogurin to swoon about. Never rewatching 1 litter of tears tho. Yes, I love Nishikido Ryo but that series broke me. I never used to cry watching TV but that story? I was sobing like crazy and want to forget I ever saw it.
2005 was the year I discovered asian dramas. My first one was the taiwanese drama "Mars" which was based on a…
OMG someone mentioning Mars always makes me extra happy cause it“s been so long ago it aired. Vic Zhou will forever be the saddest male lead in every drama he was in XD Also completely agree with you about ISWAK, didn“t like the Taiwanese version nor the Korean.
It's not that unrealistic that nobody cared to check on a guy laying on the ground. Japanese are very tolerant about drunk male office workes randomly sleeping on the streets. Also, not many people are keen to check on a stranger, especially in a big city with many people. You see it often in dramas, documentaries, even here in Europe it's often like that... The dubcon/noncon irks me, it could have been handled better. Reminded me of TharnType, kinda. Red flag for me. I would very much like to slap the boss. And then report him to HR. And slap him some more. I understand Hiro needs the job but this is ridiculous.
I wanted this type of ending since he got arrested and disappeared. No one saw him.
Issuing a warrant and making an arrest are two different things. Nobody saw Lue again cause he did not want to get arrested, not because of being arrested. I know it“s confusing, what in this trainwreck drama isnt....
with all that's happening in China now, nobody knows...
There are massive protests against government policies regarding COVID lockdowns and other stuff, try some European or US based news site if it's available in your country, or Twitter. But this is just based on my preference and language, I believe there are other news outlets reporting this in all parts of the world (except China ofc) š
I don't know where else to share that but after finishing this abomination of a book with 200 something pages…
thank you for an entertaining read XDDD I know now I wont be looking for the book or the series as I heard weird things about this and dont enyoj the leads but nevertheless this convo of yours made me lough so hard it added years to my lifespan XDDD
Is it just me or are there some scenes like kinda missing? The one where they get out of the woods e.g. I just get this strange feeling I fell asleep for a couple minutes and the story is at another place altogether @___@
I loved every episode, all the characters and their motivations were nicely portraied, and the music, omg T__T Ronghao and his flute made me cry like a baby... The main couple is so good together, and the other couples as well. Black Dragon must be protected at all cost, just give him a fluffy blanket and some melted sugar snacks :D Dylan Wang is easily becoming my favourite chinese actor with all the faces he pulled when they switched with Orchid. With being just 24 years old he did an amazing job here and even thou I have a weak spot for villains in general, he made me fall in love with Moon Supreme within moments and never did I for even a second think the God of War would be a better partner for Orchid. A bit like in the Boys over Flowers story ;-)
I will never forget Onew in Descendants of the Sun, he did such a great job and fit the cast so well!!! Also Key…
I loved Onew in DotS, didnt even realize he was the leader of Shinee until after I checked cause I had a feeling I knew him from somewhere and bang, Shinee XD
