I don't get why people are calling Jom preachy when he’s literally a village chief — it’s his job to maintain order, guide his people, and uphold values in the community. Part of his role is to speak on what's right and keep the village in check, so it makes sense for him to be a bit moralistic sometimes. It’s not like he can just sit back and watch chaos unfold. If it fits his character and purpose in the story, then it’s completely justified.
