Theres unnecessary hate on this one. At some point, you might feel like there was lack of romantic chemistry between the ML1 and FL1. However, given the circumstance they grew up in, it made perfect sense. Not every couple is the same. and well, 'Melo' does not promise a happy ending.
I get that people are disappointed about the story of the FL2 and ML2 but this is how it was supposed to be. How many Kmovies are out there where the couple does not always have a happy ending. And the story FL2 wrote about her love life was the same as her life. then why did everyone expect a different ending?
and this drama was packaging much more than just a romance between a couple. 'Melo' in the Melo Movie included all the aspects of love and affection between people around you.
A daughter who wanted to be loved by her father. A father who was always trying and failing to be there for his daughter. A daughter who did not realize her mothers presence and love for her. The story of two brothers who only had each other to rely on but much more complicated than just that. The dynamic of being friends with people who are not easy to understand. and a lot more.
You gotta start seeing the artistic and creative side of this drama. it was for sure a MELO movie.
