I don't understand the bitterness.

First of all, if it's said melon, there's a possibility that's just a rumor and probably not true. So don't claim anything and immediately blamed it on the actors and drama production. It's not their fault you take the melon seriously for your idol.

It's not the production nor other actors' fault if you fall to that melon that yxh created. If you know, yxh most of the time create baseless rumor to increase engagement. Cute characters = cute acting with cute voice. It's the ASSOCIATION that some people with feeling mature minds that put that makes cute characters bad, not their mannerism (e.g. pouting, that's part of their personality/nuannces that an actor added to take the character as her own ). It's okay if you have preference, but don't be force it upon others, and insult them if they aren't following you. For Shuxin, BTS of LBFAD, the director ask her to act more cute and there's also voice actors who guide her how to sound like XLH because that's how her character should be. She takes dubbing classes just to audition for voice. It's intended and fitted to the characters she's been playing. Most of cute character she played, have obvious growth. It's all supposed to have character development. It's also not her fault if productions love to offer her this kind of roles because she fits to it so much.

If you didn't know also, Shuxin can modulate her voice depends on the character or voice she needed. She's acting cute because, the director direct her to act and sound cute. Makes sense.

1. Do you need to watch the previous seasons just to understand this?
- The answers is No. Each series is adapted from a version of a game so they have different stories. E.g. Chinese Paladin 6 is adapted from the game of Chinese Paladin 6 so they follow the title, same thing will apply to another version.

2. Is Yueqi and Yue Jinzhao siblings?
-  They are not siblings. They both got amnesia. Jinzhao lend his surname Yue to Qi because Qi can't even remember her surname. So their journey is about finding who they really are.
- People in the group thought they're siblings but Yue Jinzhao said he never said Qi is his siblings. People kept telling him there's a time, Qi won't be dependent on her. It's like somehow he doesn't want Qi to not depend on him.

3. Is there no romance between Qi and Jinzhao?
-  There is. It's a slowburn romance but you know from the start, Jinzhao already likes Qi but she doesn't realize it. She just always say though she will always be with Yue Jinzhao even to her mother. So Qi always say things that makes Jinzhao make him fall harder to her without even realizing it. (Please note the story starts 3 years after so they've already known each other 3 years before they met the group. So the two of them without memories rely only in each other for 3 years )
- E.g. 1: He doesn't want others to call Yueqi,  Qi. There's also a scene where someone ask him if Qi thinks him more than brother.
-E.g. 2: I don't want to spoil anything but there's time Jinzhao was so sad because Qi...(secret) and thought he's fated to protect her always.
-E.g. 3: There's a point Jinzhao said, he thought Qi can't live without him, but it's really him who can't live without Qi. People keep saying and also reminding Jinzhao about it. He just can't let go.
- There's no love triangle for them in the gameplay.
- The story is somehow not centered in Romance though I share a lot of Qi and Jinzhao here 😂. It's more on adventurous sides, about discovering identity, some wants to leave a mark with their name, false belief/cult, complicated twin story, being a guardian, master-disciple, mother-daughter, friendship, facing fear, etc. It's a group story.

4. Is Yueqi a weak female lead?
- The answer is no. Yueqi is cute but if you watch the gameplay, she was never weak from the start even if some of her power is sealed, she can defeat a monster all by herself. She is physically strong but dependent to Yue Jinzhao when it comes to cooking and decision making but never a damsel in distress. Her plotline is about her discovering herself and not other making decisions for her.
- E.g: Also there's an instance, Jinzhao faints so Qi have to fight the monster by herself. To count, she beats 2 monsters already all by herself. Yueqi even save Yue Jinzhao.
- There's also instances where Jinzhao let her fight it alone.
- Yueqi is naive but not dumb. She can easily comprehend and understand. She's just always pampered and spoiled by Jinzhao. She's a powerful cutipie.
- Also, character development of her touches your heart when she tries not to be dependent anymore to Jinzhao. That's all I can say for now, I won't spoil you. Also love the friendship of the group circle of Yueqi
- Yueqi's mother is the most powerful and she is a weapon to fight her.

CLARIFICATIONS ABOUT SOME MISCONCEPTIONS ON CHINESE PALADIN 6/SWORD AND FAIRY 6

1. Do you need to watch the previous seasons just to understand this?

I will answer it based on my understanding in the Sword and Fairy 6 gameplay walkthrough that I have watch. (Though the main reason I really watch this gameplay is entirely for Shuxin despite the graphics 🤣 but I assure you the storyline is good so hoping for the drama that they won't change much ) 

There might be a spoiler below but I tried to tell the clarifications without spoiler as much as possible.

Please respect the casting choices, especially the actors/actress are the one who made the decision, they are not forced to accept this project. So as fans, just support them. The protagonist and support roles are both essential in the story.

I admit I'm a fan of Shuxin, and I am hurt that people are attacking her just because she's the lead, and not their idol. All we ask is respect. We're posting her achievements not because we want to brag, but because she have the skills and data to be the lead of an S+ drama.

All characters here are important. May it lead or support, if you're a fan, you know it's your idol who accept the project, so it's important to him/her.

And I'm puzzled by somehow others associate her voice to dirty thinking. It's the close mindset that needs to change.

Here's an analysation of XLH's voice. They both show the voice XLH's dubbed anime character and XLH's LBFAD assigned by the online dubbing teacher. And compared it to Shuxin's XLH dubbing.

She actually competes for the dubbing role for this and won it. She attended dubbing classes and record it without getting assurance if she'll get the dubbing role. She dubs the role for 1 1/2 months aside from attending dubbing classes.

She haven't accepted dramas for almost 8 months mostly because of this. Anyway she won the role and it got paid off, she even landed to mandarin dubbed Hollywood movie "My Little Pony".

No matter who dubs, it should sound like whiny or childish because that's the character, even if you read the novel.

Because she is known for her personality like that, producers keep getting her for it. But she did already act as an antagonist before in a super minor role and also acts as a gentle lady in a guest role. It's just people didn't know it because her role is always known for being sweet and cute. It's her known image and shadow.

She says in her interview she really wants to act as a female agent, she doesn't have that opportunity yet.
