Bella This entire episode had every emotion I could feel in 40 mins. Frustration with Yanyin for leaving the palace after the king specifically told her not to. To his fear that he would lose her. To sadness for him in the rage that he felt when she returned. I wanted to beg him to stop bc he was tearing apart their relationship in his anger. But then her ability to really see him for who he is and then the understanding, made me tear up. Then we finally got them to deepen the intimacy which made me giddy for them. Followed by that ending. It was a masterclass of emotions all in one episode. Chef's kiss 😘

This episode was so tense. Prince Duan and the E.D. are really in a contest to see who could be the most vile and evil villain in this show.

Each diary scene at the end. Is so emotional, they give such depth to the emperor. I just want to hug him to make him feel better.

I'm really loving these two as a couple and I don't even mean a romantic couple I mean a pair of partners. Although I'm sad that he's not being completely honest with her. I'm super intrigued to find out why, and not jump to judge conclusions. Nevertheless I am super entertained, and definitely want more.

This episode was quite enjoyable for me. Maybe bc it reminds me of kdramas that I watched and very much enjoyed in the past like fated to love you and my secret romance. It's not some deep award winning story but rather a lighthearted trope filled comedy. I particularly like this episode bc it at least showed the real nuance of the FL needing to make a decision even though we the viewer already know what decision she has to make bc it's the plot of the show. But this episode still tried to at least give it some weight.

The entire episode was so intense and high stakes. I couldn't take my eyes off of the screen. It felt like a finale, although we're not even halfway through the show. I can't wait to see how the story progresses from here. New lines will definitely be drawn in the sand, but also, I see, new alliances and bonds to be built

Do Kyungsoo the man that you are...even with the little screen time he was given his performance of the calm measured villain was perfect. I can't wait to see more of the mind games he will get into with our main lead JCW. The episode was over before I realized how tense the entire episode made me.
