is the ending rlly that bad
If we see it as the drama alone it’s not bad (though I think the ending is rushed). But it doesn’t follow the novel so it’s a bit disappointing at least for many novel readers.

The title doesn’t fit well here… betrothal feels like a sub plot in this drama adaptation. If they wanted the story and the title to match they should’ve stuck with the novel… there it’s an actual royal betrothal

Like noooooo we want you guys to follow the novel. I personally like happy endings that’s why I loved the novel. All 3 couples from the drama is portrayed differently 😭 I had a hunch that it might be an open ending but I’m so sad I was right lol…..

I loved the ost (by Hu Xia) transition. I don’t think it was ever used before except for the ending credit. But was disappointed by the rest of the ending choices
