I’m starting to think that their wedding is sabotaged (the part where she stabs him in the trailer). Someone who is associated with her past identity might have drugged or hallucinated her to attack Ying Gua.
Yes.. But I think the drama will go more towards a hopeful/happy ending. Especially because the drama is 40 episodes,…
Are you planning to watch this if it's confirmed it's not a sad ending? I'm going to watch when it airs, but wishing so badly that it will be a happy ending 😂
Script writer is totally idiot to alter everything. It was fl being in love 1st but they changed it to ml. Nd…
I agree as a fellow novel reader... They could have adapted it closer to the original. Seems like the drama's direction is going towards Ying Gua falling in love first, and he also finds out she's the princess first before Tinghui (according to the ep 21 preview). I'm trying to see the novel and the drama separately at this point lol. Because I think the drama plot is not bad (and of course the acting saves many things!)

He’s acting and many other qualities are wonderful that’s why 😂. Our guy doesn’t need whole lot of promotion to prove he’s good. But he deserves more so I hope this time it gets proper promotion!
Yep I have hope for that too! Could it be just a Mangotv thing to announce a drama a day before or just drop it out of nowhere 😂? Anyways looking forward to this drama a lot after I finish the royal betrothal!
looking at the previews I don't think any "candy" scenes are going to be there in the next 2 eps.
It is going to be there in ep 18-19. Check the image on the schedule chart! If we are just going off with the previews for 16, 17, who would have guessed that there’s a snow scene today?
Can they just stop bringing the “nobel ladies” to him? 🤦♀️😵 But the fact that Tinghui doesn’t have to deal with them so much is good (girl is so busy doing more important things 😅). Seems like she’s going to have some sword action scenes later so I’m excited for that as well!
Anything major happened relationship- wise for ep 14 and 15 please? Otherwise I would wait till Sat.I caught the…
Something major did happen to their relationship. I also thought I wouldn't like the plot line for those episodes but this drama doesn't keep the audience frustrated for long whenever there is an issue between the characters. Hope this helps!
If her tattoo on the back of her shoulder, meaning she’s the last descendent of the fallen dynasty then I really…
Yep, I know what you're talking about! Saw the trailer as well, and it didn't seem to align completely with the elements in the novel. But I'm thinking this might be the ML & FL's plan/pretending that they're enemies? That's my best guess because they trust each other so much and almost have no misunderstandings in the novel. Let's just hope the drama somewhat follows the novel 😂🤞

I think you mean Yin Qing (who had the shocked look in ep 13), not Ying Gua.
In the novel, the people who served the fallen dynasty wanted the FL to take revenge for them, but she didn't want to since she was being used. Also, because she loves the ML. Later, I remember FL and ML made a plan so that there would be no war between the two kingdoms. ML later offers FL the title of empress, and it's a happy ending. I read this novel a couple of years ago, so if other novel readers remember more in detail, feel free to share, but this is what I remember in general!
I lowkey hope they stick with the novel. If not, at least make it a happy ending like the novel.
