Mom has already acknowledged that it's her fault 😅😅 when YS agreed to break up with JZ. From what I see, YS loves JZ more than she loves him, he's done alot for her, he's able to walk after 2 years because she's giving him hope. Now I'm getting to the point where I don't even mind if he marries ZZ. ZZ is also a good, capable financially independent doctor, she's lovely too :)

Cheer up mate! It's gonna be happy ending like in the novel. Culimination of storyline has to be full of angsts, as it's trying to convey that true love conquers all. And I believe there's a resolution for bad selfish Mom's character towards the finale 😆✌️😆✌️

Sometimes I come across articles of billionaires & tycoons. Paris Hilton is the opposite, when in her teens she was a notorious party girl with a list of scandals until Dad decided to leave his majority $billions to the charity.

ZZ is a good girl, unlike Mom, & we can see she's been provided good education, being a doctor she's learnt to abide by the medical board code of conduct & ethics incl professional behaviour. Wealthy Moms are able to control their kids using money & whether their kids are relying on their parents' financial support, wealthy lifestyle, maintain position in their large company especially when founder is the Dad with controlling interest. We can see ZZ is a capable financially independent doctor, who's not afraid of not obeying Mom if she's unreasonable, she's very aware that bad behaviour is morally wrong, & even if Mom severes ties or disowns her, she's capable of supporting herself financially. But being a good daughter who's grateful of good education, she's still tolerating Mom. Likewise, FYS is tolerating Mom as well :)

You know what, realistically, some loves can be nutured lol. Actually, JZ's Dr Ji could be a good substitute if you ask me, brains & acceptable looks 😂 Just like in present day, we can have more than one partner, whom we likely fall in & out of love hastily 😂😂😂 but then, this is a drama right, & viewers only want to watch a perfect romance that would last forever, not one-night stands nor multiple lovers haha. It also depends, whether the family is wealthy & influential for Son to go against their wishes, & whether Son relies on their money, funds for projects to make happen for JZ's vision too (eg. Pedro), position, inheritance, which is greater love or wealth/prominence :)

Seems like Mom can't define "hate", she simply says she hates JZ just because she has no family, no wealth & no financial backing for %Jiang's in Lingtian Group where she believes her main focus & survival is, to ensure Jiang stays afloat within big Pharma, has been instilled in her by Dad, & too bad, part of their "DNA" 😂😂😂

Maybe she hasn't experienced that kind of love the Son is experiencing right now 😂😂😂 She's probably been "brainwashed" since young to marry into wealth & marry for financial purposes & it's the right thing to do 😂😂. She may possibly believe that love could be nurtured (that's what ZZ's Mom often reminded her daughter that there's no love when she married her Dad) 😂😂

Maybe he's suggesting a break-up for many reasons, a respite perhaps. Firstly, ZJ rejected his proposal (implication of you did not love me enough to be engaged to me, not to mention marriage), & he's too weak to protect ZJ in the meantime anyways. Just like he's the caring & considerate type who doesn't want to implicate others esp. JZ when he was confined in a wheelchair, remember, but when there's a glimmer of hope, he'll change his story 😂😂😂😂😂

Maybe we don't call it abandoning, just not fulfilling his parent's wishes by marrying the girl she wants for her son. If I'm in YS's shoes, I'll marry ZJ but I'll still keep Mom-Son relationship, visit her often with JZ, & perhaps one day, she'll come to accept her daughter-in-law (she has no choice 😂) esp. once she has grandkids lol.

Yes, you're right & YS did tell Mom to her face that she's selfish & she'll lose him if she keeps hurting JZ & others to achieve her own means. She'd feigned suicidal by popping pills, & unintentionally hurt him by pushing him away a little too hard. It's probably how her father had treated her so, a marriage for financial purpose without love, & she's applying same with own Son, not comprehending the pain she'd inflicted on him *sigh*

I do understand FYS's filial piety, & no doubt a good son by tolerating Mom, but keep in mind, patience has its limit, naturally soon to reach a breaking point where Son has had enough. Mom is vicious & honestly, if I'm FYS, I'll move out, marry JZ against her wishes & visit her in the weekends (I'll still keep that Mom & Son bondage/relationship). So what if you're Mom, I didn't ask to be born. nor Mom is always right nor love me wholeheartedly (his Mom is obviously selfish by denying his love & happiness, pushing it too far by indirectly injuring her own Son). Besides, what is wrong with ZJ, she's lovely & a capable heart surgeon, only issue she's an outsider of Lingtian, meaning she wouldn't be able to form the majority of Jiangs in Lingtian Group. Now Mom is suspended from work & it has nothing to do with ZJ. Blame it on herself, even Grandpa nor the Zhous could restore her position at Lingtian 😂😅👍 The storyline is good in a way, it also lead us to see for instance, it's the Board of Directors who determine whether she stays or disimissed, not the Zhous, Grandpa, nor anyone in the family, suspension is a good thing for her, time for self-reflection & redemption :) I guess the only thing that's holding him up is ZJ to accept his marriage proposal.

Asian countries & Western countries both have different system of governance, cultures, beliefs, values, personal freedom, etc. As for me, I prefer a blend of both cultures but full support for democratic values & beliefs 😂😅👍 In my adoptive country, we've a progressive tax system, & a welfare system for its residents & citizens, young & old alike based on one's incomes, there's no need to rely financially on the kids whom themselves are financially struggling as cost of living is high :) When young, there's super accumulation as you continuously work & the need to invest & save for retirement, whether you're self-funded retirees or pensioner/welfare recipents :)
