We can see that Princess Roujia was motivated to do evil (on same evil boat with Empress Dowager) to inflict tit for tat retribution. Lord Ding & Princess Roujia, 2 individuals with 2 different personalities, just like how individuals perceived differently may be partly inborn/hereditary, & others shaped by current & past experiences, environs, background & upbringing, education, culture, values, religion, assumptions & expectations, character traits, etc. etc.

Yes, as you mentioned, both Princess Roujia & Lord Ding had terrible traumatic childhood, however Lord Ding was able to let go, move on, those painful memories seemed tolerable with his love of his life Mu Zhuohua staying by his side. Whilst Princess Roujia's hatred was invested & too intense to enabled herself pulled out of that quagmire & from what we see, nothing/nobody could steer her away to the right path, not Xue Xiaotang nor even Shen Jinghong (she's not lacking love) whom she used repeatedly to implement her revenge. Exposing crimes & corruption of Sun & Zhou families were just for her own self-interest. And we also know that Grand Aunt brought her up, loved her as her own (thus she's not totally deprived) whilst Lord Ding was brought up by servants & Emperor Liu Ju as his sole companion, & not only unloved worse, Empress Dowager was often plotting her way to harm him since young.

So yeah, Princess Roujia's evil deeds were unpardonable (not forgetting her involvement at Battle of Juma River led to 30k soldiers perished). It's not just about seeking vengeance, but power hungry intended to seize the throne from her Emperor brother.

Moral of story. Since there's no point of return for Princess Roujia, we keep good Lord Ding & dispose of bad Princess Roujia :) Happy Ending.

Standby Me 🥰 is one of few dramas that I've watched every episode without skip or fast forward, that's the reason it has brought me here to South Wind Knows for a happy ending🥰 . She's very pretty 🥰& thus, her being "cutesy" @Intense Love & her "pampered, flirty" voice suits her🥰 (no cringe with Zhang Yuxi🥰 , unlike some overrated ones who should be purged from main roles)

Yes, all actors were excellent incl ML's aides Zhimo & Zhijian, & FL's Juli. Pity what a waste rising star top scholar to ministry Shen Jinghong's got manipulated by psycho Princess Roujia, pretty boy I want see alive, he was full of remorse after realizing the avengeful Princess' evil intent & unable to take her back to the right path (their aspiration of equality, peaceful & prosperous country)

Also, I love the powerful main couple Uncle Liuyan & Mu Zhuohua, like their minds are in sync, mentally, emotionally & physically supporting each other during difficult times, with a common goal & overtime love strengthens & deepens. Beautiful storyline 🥰🥰

Likewise. I love how there is trust, mutual understanding between uncle & young nephew Emperor Liu Chen, no rumours could rattle their close-knit relationship. I too would love very much a season 2 for Emperor as main lead, good-looking to start with, good-acting, & composure befitting an Emperor, if not too much to ask, a request for FL like Bai Bingke (Bingyan from Wrong Carriage, around his age, elegant, smart & beautiful) as his FL 🥰🥰

I'd a few glimpses, & besides I quite like Bai Jingting since New Life Begins, he's quite a sweet guy, soft-spoken & quiet demeanour. Songyi is not bad too. Yeah, I'll put Destined in my tote bag watchlist. ML has to be compatible with FL too :)

Same feeling, perhaps the "chemistry" is not very natural as compared to Maid Revenge 😂😂 but anyhow I would watch the remainder episodes later. Kisses are somewhat "forced" & not sensual enough. Some say Dai Gaozheng is underrated but I think Richard Li is much more underrated. Producers may like to swap the pair with Richard Li & Zhu Lilan 😂😂

One of the best dramas for me too. Love FL Zhuohua, not only is she a beauty but very ambitious, a lifter who's determined to become a county official instead of being an official's wife. And of course, even the Emperor's picky half brother ML respected her & only has eyes for her 🥰🥰

That's the reason Country M (any fictional country) without naming a particular country. Drama such as this is considered insignificant compared to Hollywood's many top notch movie genres terrorism, thriller, romance, fantasy, etc. Blood Diamond is one of many Hollywood's best, it's so good, I don't mind rewatching anytime, The Good Lie, Hotel Mumbai, American Sniper, The Impossible, The Help, & many more 😊😊
