I don't take this seriously. I either rate 10/10 or none at all 😂😂 10/10 for me if it's good enough, minimal skips/fast forwards 😂 I haven't yet watched most of the above you mentioned, Unchained Love, Warm on a Cold Night, Blood of Youth, Wulin Heroes, League of Nobleman, Journey of Chong Zi, Love & Redemption, Pledge of Allegiance nor even Immortal Samsara, but I've watched & enjoyed recent The Starry Love, Love Heals, The Immortal Promise, Hi Venus. I'm looking forward to watch more from Peng Xiaoran, & FLs like Tang Min, Zhang Yuxi, Bai Lu, Liang Jie, Wang Churan, Zhu Lilan, Zhao Lusi & Angelababy 😂

True. If they haven't met nor interacted 4 yrs ago, oh well, I must admit she's a little nutty throwing herself at a guy she's fancied 4 yrs ago from afar lol. To think she's so mesmerized that she's indeed groomed & cultivated herself into somebody extremely desirable & a wife perfect fit only to match the Magistrate heheh. Somebody pls get RoFL screenwriter, producer or director to slightly amend the story so as to give Jiman some self-respect lol.

You mean the purpose of her journey? I know it sounds a litle incredulous that Yuxuan is almost every girl's dream of Prince Charming right? And it's coincidental that she's decided to "confess" on that same fateful day, hopeful that he'll fall head over heels & marry her as his 2nd wife, & very much aware that he's already a 1st wife (whom she hasn't met) in the first place lol. I'm sure they've met 4 yrs ago & decided they're fated to be together, hence reason Yuxuan married lookalike Jiman who's Sangyu.

There're so much positiveness in RoFL. Our ML's a brilliant govt official, sent to wipe out corruption & crimes successfully in Haifang, whereas our FL supports the goals of ML, works side by side with him to solve crimes as well as being the benevolent Princess Diana whom, with her care, kindness, & generosity traits, who possesses medical skills (bonus for ML as Magistrate), invents & formulates affordable healing creams (medicated skin creams) & moisturizers, etc. that will tremendously improve the lives of people in Haifang.

Yeah, similarly in real life, we too need to go through hurdles right haha, life is not meant to be easy & always smooth sailing. Yuxuan's a brilliant solver Magistrate (who's eliminating crimes one by one), unlike previous ones who were either too weak or who'd allowed whatever criminal activities to persist in Haifang. Reason why Emperor assigned & allocated Yuxuan in Haifang to resolve & uncover mysterious crimes & deaths (eg. husbands' of Liu's village disappeared, discovered later they died (to replace pirates who're scapegoats) & bad guy Wang Jiayou is responsible!). Yuan Lang is a good person, whose aim is to create opportunities & jobs for his Tea Gang, he does not kill innocent people, thus went hand in hand with Yuxuan to eradicate Wang. And remember there's a Mastermind behind Wang. BearFighting, do you know who this person who wears purple & black robe whom Wang follows instructions & I suspect they're very likely to have connection with evil Ling & Dad (Ling's Dad may be Mastermind himself).

Google's your best friend, you'll read articles like "in near drowning accidents, a person who's underwater for a prolonged time may suffer short-term memory loss as a result of reduced oxygen or oxygen was cut off for more than 5 mins". If Gu Bai hasn't fished Jiman out, she'll be drowned, died just like her twin Sangyu (presumably dead as Gu Bai did not expect twins).

I read a bit of some online translated novel, this drama is supposed to be a dream, & if RoTF sticks to the novel, I won't have it. Novel is twisted with many concubines & their schemes.

BearFighting, it's the same with Yang Ying/Angelababy, why some "anti-fans" were bad-mouthing her, which I'd happened to come across articles & youtube, spreading like wildfire how she's not a good actress, etc. Jealousy probably.

Spot on, BearFighting. Just like Hollywood's eg. Matthew McConaughey's Gold & The Big Short VS Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible or The Mummy 😂 Maybe other factors as well :)

When I decide to watch, I'll have to enjoy watching in particularly the FL, then the ML, otherwise drop lol. PXR is one of my favourites & I find that she's good, with a pretty face & elegance, nevermind about those giggles as she's supposed to be around 18 yrs old. As opposed to Esther Yu, ahhh ... that one is real childishness, like an 8 yr old spoilt brat lol. Zhou Lusi acts childish as well esp. in some of her old dramas.

Yeah, I admit "fate connection" may be overused but oh well, we still binge watch them one after another, don't we 😂

Now it dawns on me why Yuxuan married Sangyu. He'd probably thought Sangyu was Jiman, the girl he met when they were younger, but turned out to be temperamental spoilt identical twin Sangyu 😂 Story is gradually unfolding & piecing together missing puzzles 🥰

Good that you've decided to resume watching RoTF. This is the only drama I currently love watching right now. Can't find anything else nice at the moment to watch while waiting for more episodes to be released from RoTF hehe.

I suspect (story is revealing bit by bit, keeping us in suspense as usual lol) Jiman may have known Yuxuan when they were young. Remembering her thinking aloud "4 yrs have past, I'd been working really hard & now finally found the courage to see you". Jiman's so pretty, with dimples on both sides of cheeks 🥰🥰
