Insider of JTBC channel has not announced the OTT platform. I hope it's not Disney
LOL everybody hates Disney. Another page of drama called "Link Eat Love Die" also said the same thing. Someone even said funny satire words like "Here another drama that held as a hostage by Disney+" LMAO LOL
Cheng Yi always got dubbed in xianxia and period costume drama. Idk if he ever used his own voice in drama.
Oh really? I didnt see Imperial Age because there is no eng sub yet. Coz in his previous big period costume dramas like L&R, Stand By Me, Promise of Chang An. He got dubbed obviously. Where you watch imperial age? But its only Cheng Yi as young emperor thou. But I will watch it coz I really love Cheng Yi since Love and Redemption.
IQiyi got the license in Taiwan. I hope they will broadcast it in many regions. There is no way Netflix will take this if iQiyi already bought the license for certain regions. As long time fan of iQiyi, I always see the pattern, Usually, iQiyi will air it also in SEA regions if they decided to take the license in TW.
This is why better release the drama ASAP before scandals and problems. I dont want this one to be shelved or butchered just because of leaked scenes case.
So I heard from people in Twitter that the kiss scenes that already leaked in internet, Youku will delete that kiss scene in its actual drama because its already leaked. Are you kidding me? Why cut here and there just because its leaked? Its not viewers fault btw. Idk who start to leak drama scenes even before it started. They/Youku also said to delete more scenes if other leaked scenes keep going around.
so true. a theme of sports is enough to tell it's sporty. Pure or not depending on trailer and first episodes…
All sports drama (Racket Boys, Hot Stove League, 2521, etc) ofc have many other elements besides sports. We need that to put the weight, the depth and story into the characters. So we can feel and connect with them, we know the details about their story, background, life, and character. From beginning LAP is about romance, slice of life and sports. We know it from the start. And Badminton in this drama is clearly not just a background setting. Their career and activities depends on the sports itself. Thats why many ppl start to complain about the lack of badminton scenes here. Its all about Taeyang is crying from ep 8 until 12. No one expected it would turn out to be a draggy melodrama with depressing FL. There is a limit when sports drama want to add the melodrama plot. If the problem is all about her career in badminton, her struggle in winning the competition to prove herself, her progress to comeback as star player, and etc. Nobody will complain about those things. The writer also can add the romance plot in that process and their chemistry as mixed doubles would be cute and wondeful.
See? I am not the only one who felt like "expectation is greater than the reality". Most of the people here expected "Badminton" as a focus from the beginning. Because of its title (especially international title Love All Play), the summary that mentioned Mixed Doubles for business badminton team, plus the trailer that showed us many badminton scenes. Sports tag here is another additional factors to make people believe "oh this is another sports drama this year". I dont expect about melodrama genre in this drama from beginning. But I know about romance + sports. Thats it. If some ppl said about the "past" tropes that was mentioned in the synopsis so thats why melodrama is already predicted....well you know USUALLY sports drama wont tell you about star player from ep 1 in instant. But they will bring us the underdog players and how they can climb up into their glory in the end. And ofc "the past" is one of the factor that can motivate the characters to rise up and prove themselves. So this is the answer when a few people said about "Why everyone complained about the less scene of badminton things here?". I hope, really hope, there is big matches near the end. Maybe ep 14-16. Make it meaningful and exciting, at least once.
Is it only me or has the writer completely dropped the ball in the second half? Even considering dropping it.…
You can read all the comments below and everyone started to complain after 10 eps. Its not only you who felt like this. I am also. But i wont drop it coz i wanna see how the writer can solve the mess she created in the plot.
Now everyone started to complain about the melodrama plot. The dragging of Park Jun Young accident case is ruining all the story. Its okay to have some trauma tropes and depression about the past. But the writer should not drag it until 4 episodes (from ep 9-12). Just solve it within 2 eps then move on to the badminton game. The writer also can make the past of Taeyang become a strength for her to prove herself and the reason to fight for her life and career. You cant change the past no matter how hard you are crying. Time to move on and make a better future.
