He is both pretty and handsome in the same time. Yes. You can see how he has a flower boy type of face with fair skin and beautiful face. But he is still manly and keep protecting his girl from danger. His role is a handsome prince in that drama.
Before WOH, I already watched Unique Lady S1-S2 earlier, so I still can move on from Wen Kexing role. Gong Jun acted like the character they gave. So it totally depends on the characters. Wen Kexing is "feminime" and naughty, thats because of the WKX char in the novel. But Gong Jun also can be handsome and manly in another script. Especially when it comes to romance with girls. Gong Jun is also one of the best kisser in cdramaland
LOL I still remember how people are swooning over Seo In Guk in the beginning and believe this is a masterpiece because of the casts. But in the end, they give a shit and more complains to this drama. Not only this one but its also happening to many other dramas. Especially he got weight loss again for Lawless Lawyer. Even I cant bear to watch LL because of that. He looked okay in Flower of Evil. But in AML, he got thinner again.

For plot, There is no doubt this is a great one. But I have my own taste. Its watchable but i dont like to see Innocent man as the ML (aka temporary dumb). I still prefer the innocent one is the woman/girl. Like Ashes of Love and Love & Redemption. When the ML protected his girl with all his effort and sacrifice. I love that kind of angst. And its suited my taste and expectation more.
I am worrying about Lee Joon Gi body. He cant be so thin to act in this drama. He needs muscle and fit body. He will expose a lot of skin in this kind of drama.

You can try to watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Legal High, Hyena, Witch Court, Doctor Lawyer, Military Prosecutor Doberman, While You Were Sleeping for more side cases (maybe 4-8 cases) and one long term plot for main roles.
Kdrama also has one main case with side cases that keep connecting to each other like Again My Life, Why Her, etc.

I extremely disagree with AvenueX in Love & Redemption and One and Only review. I think both of them are so great. Thats why everytime AvenueX release her reviews, I always expect some "rants" on "not so ideal" parts from her.
But yeah like we said before, CLJ case is so surprising for avenuex reviews. She also gave a very high rating 2 gold mine for DiDi drama. Its really beyond my expectation.
For costume, maybe this is what she wanted. She always rant about xianxia is too pale (white, cream, gray) and too cliche. And CLJ gave something different in costume if we compare it with Immortal Samsara and Ancient Love Poetry. IS and ALP are so pale. CLJ got more colours even though Esther Yu costume still got white vibes but its blending nicely with other colours like purple, blue, pink, yellow, etc.
No matter what, most of her opinion is still very subjective and personal + biased. Xianxia and period costume are still my most fave genre in cdramas. Whatever she said, she cant change my love for my fave shows 😁😏
