Yo do realize that dude is a total psycho right..... The only dynamic between them is of a ruthless guy obsessed…
"This drama is so popular largely due to his presence."

This makes me laugh.. :lolrotf

I love the chaos in this drama. That memorial scene had me laughing out loud haha. I've read comments about how the FL is treating the husband and not even defending him from her family but honestly if this is a drama where an ordinary guy married a chaebol and that everyone in the chaebol's family is treating him nicely like an equal then why do we even have a drama. That would be boring, Some would want the wife to defend the husband and probably be a nice wife but being a nice wife means choosing the husband and leaving the family which is not what the writer wanted for his/her drama. This is the story he/she wants and honestly I like this more. Of course character development is very important but this is only the 1st episode, 15 more to go. As a viewer we can guess the motivation of some characters or how the story will unfold but do we really need to take everything seriously? Let's just enjoy and hope that the story has enough spice to make this a really good drama.

3) The ‘must-watch’ Rom-com of the Year
The series promises a rollercoaster of emotions, perfectly captured in the teaser trailer where Kim Soo Hyun poignantly asks, "Why are you so beautiful to me?" signaling a reawakening of love towards Kim Ji Won. Their dynamic evolves from deeply emotional to humorously combative, showcasing their journey from confrontation to rediscovery of love. The intriguing dialogue and chemistry between the leads hint at a story filled with both laughter and heartfelt moments, challenging the norms of traditional romantic narratives.

Queen of Tears redefines the love-hate relationship trope within the context of marriage, offering a fresh perspective on romantic rekindling. This series is an invitation to explore love's complexities and the journey back to it, set against the backdrop of high society and corporate intrigue. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable experience, only on Netflix this March.

Not as scary as I thought it would be. The middle part is the weakest of the drama and feels repetitive but overall still a good watch for me.

When I watched the trailer on Netflix I thought this is a horror genre but no. It's a mystery, crime, thriller and I am not complaining. I liked it and finished it in two days. Every episode got me hooked and was curious who the killer was and the plot twist I didn't saw it coming. The female lead though is weak and with questionable decisions so that kind of a let down. This is a slow burn drama and if you're up for that then you might like it.

What does "His look" have to do with stellar acting? The man IS excellent, hence all the offers & him accepting…
Fans like you are the ones who are shallow, attacking other posters just because you read something negative about your idol. Where is in that comment did I say about his acting? Did you even understand what you read? Btw, I said FOR Me which means my own opinion about his looks. If for you he's the most handsome man in world then so be it, not a bit I would be bothered about it. jeez lol

Don't watch this movie when you already have prejudice against FL. Don't make yourself feel bad. FL has no obligation…
And she did. No one can please everyone anyway. Even the best people have their own share of critics.

IMO Kim Jiwon is one of the most beautiful actresses in South Korea. But most importantly, she's amazingly talented,…
Beauty is really subjective. In my eyes Kim Ji Won is prettier than those names mention. The type of beauty where the more you look at her the prettier she gets. And I like that her beauty can't be typecast as being say "korean" like she's just beautiful that's it, at least for me. I don't know if she's bi racial or what but her looks is somewhat exotic for a korean. I admit I'm one of those when I look at these korean celebs a lot of them look similar in my eyes. They have that pointy or v-line jaw which I'm not a fan of and even their noses look similar. Maybe PS did that or what but I guess I'm really picky when it comes to korean beauty. When I watched DOTS I thought it's one of those rare kdramas where both the FL are equally beautiful in their own way.

Took me two months to finish this drama. I love zombie-survival theme in drama/movies but this one just bored me. Perhaps at least keep the tension going but the suspense is far and between. I know this isn't the Train to Busan kind of zombie flick if this is even a zombie-yish anyway. The drama is heavy on dialogue which is fine if only the conversations are interesting and keep the viewers engage. But no. The only character that I'm sort of intrigued at was the head of special task force. It makes me wonder almost all throughout the series if he was the bad guy or the good guy. Also every time when the male lead did that deep sigh, I find it annoying. It feels intentional just acting. Well, at least the last 3 or 2 episodes the drama picks up its pace but it's too late anyway.

What was the ending scene of episode 10 about? When mi jeong and mr gu chases after birds on a hill?
For me that was the real ending of Mr. Gu and Mijeong. Some say it's a dream sequence but no, it's a flashforward. Remember that the timeline of MLN is not written in linear. Before that scene Mr. Gu was at the bar talking to Baek and told him to wait whether he's staying in Sanpo and continue making sink (to be with Mijeong) or go back to the business. Well, he chose both. He went back to his old life but ultimately he chose to be with Mijeong.

Life is a journey and ending the drama where everyone is happy or at end of their search for liberation is going the opposite of what this drama is all about, Every person walks in her/his own pace, some walks faster, others fall behind.

Of the 4 characters Changhee's arc is more fulfilling because he finally found his true calling. For Mijeong, she's at the cusps of finding her liberation just a little more step she'll get there. Mr Gu on the other hand has just started his own journey when he put down the bottle and leave it behind. Kijeong, her liberation is still uncertain. Yes, she decided to stick with Taehun and accepted all of his baggage but for how long?

Of the four, Gijeong is what most of us. How many people have actually found the true purpose in life? Many died without even knowing. Or how many people like Mijeong have already grasp of what life is all about and almost reaching their destination. Many probably started but failed just like when the Liberation club members said, "They stopped" but we always have the choice to start over again. Or how many of us take the leap of faith to start to change for the better, probably not because many don't even have the courage. So for me Kijeong represent most of us. Those who just go with the flow wherever life takes us.

What is important is the journey not the destination. That is My Liberation Notes for me, its about the journey.

I don't see why everyone is so gaga over it, and "my mister" is one my all time favorite kdrama but all I saw…
Even your all time favorite kdrama My Mister has had its share of viewers who dropped the drama cause they find it too slow, boring etc likewise for MLN. Even if it's from the same writer but the the theme is different. If you finished this drama and still can't understand what these people are going through or even the changes that's taken place no matter how little then this drama is not for you from the very start.

Title My Liberation Notes Spoiler
I have not watched the last episode yet but I'm okay with spoilers so I'm reading comments here and read twitters reaction. I've came upon comments if Gu and MiJeong did see each other or it's just all Gu's imagination. For me I think it's all true, the two did meet on the bridge, have a date and went to Gu's house and it's all because of that conversation between Mijeong and her father over the phone where he told her that Gu visited their house. If it's all just Gu's imagination then that conversation of her father had no right to be there. Gu has still a lot of things to do to be better and Mijeong is there to help him. Just because the two were not in the same frame for real at the end doesn't mean it's bad. But then again I have not seen the last episode yet so I don't know how the story unfolds.

The first episodes of MLN were quite depressing but as each episode went by MLN became lighter with lots of injected humor and it has also something to do with the character development esp Mijeong. At the beginning she was lonely and depressed but in the recent episodes she's started to become happy (thanks to Mr. Gu) and then the overall tone of the show changes from gloomy to sunny. But MLN is now entering the second half, as viewers we should be prepared. Mr. Gu's past is starting to unravel now.
