Okay we both probably read it in TOTALLY different tones because the worst I can see there is that they underestimate Gulf's versatility and ability as an actor.
They literally just said they would love to see him playing a new role. 😭 I really cannot see where they said "Gulf cannot be a leading man."
And I think I can read this comment as a friendly one because I have seen BL shippers commenting with their old ship name under trailers where one of them act with other actors (male or female) BUT they usually mean well and are supportive of the new project. So yes, hashtag was unnecessary, but I still think some people are hung up on their first ships or favorite ships.
