There seems to be something sinister about the King of Zhao's face. He doesn't look like a nice guy. Hopefully I'm wrong.
IMO they dragged out her latest plan (to get SRY to perform with her) for too long. I feel like they could've condensed it into a "Powerpoint" style sequence without losing much. If they needed to cut stuff out to comply with the rules, they could've cut a lot of episode 30 and left more room for more interesting scenes.
North Prince is impressive. He sent the evil girl back to her place of origin immediately, no second chances as…
She's not that evil though, just spoiled and annoying. It was later revealed that she wasn't lying when she said she only wanted to scare the FL. The PM was the one who ordered the kill so that her father and the ML would become enemies.
Though fast paced, the handmaiden part was so disjointed I had trouble following through. I understand it's necessary…
Well there's a popular idea that a person often becomes energized and seems to get better right before they die. I don't know if it's actually true or not, but it's so ingrained in Chinese culture that there's a special idiom for it, "hui guang fan zhao"
how do they choose between using Ah and Xiao for nicknames?hope someone replies
It's really just a matter of preference. Xiao (little) and 'er (child) are diminutives and therefore more endearing. A' is more straightforward and doesn't really mean anything. Other descriptors can be used too, not just xiao, for example gao (tall), pang (fat), lao (old), etc. Lao in particular is very common for nicknames for men, even those who are not actually old.
What happen to Zhou Yan Bang after he was hit in the head with rock? Did he got paralyse or something? He seems…
After JL and JRY left, there was a third person (most likely Yu'E) who arrived and checked to see if he was breathing. They wouldn't show that for nothing. Most likely it was Yu'E who paralyzed him.
My prediction is that JL will play along and pretend to be possessed by the spirit of Hu's dead daughter coming back for revenge, thereby exposing the murder. What do y'all think?
But her daughter doesn't have her level of viciousness either. For example, when the guy was plotting to kill…
Ruoyao helped him kidnap JL because she thought they were only going to demand a ransom from the Ye family so they could have money to elope. She didn't know that he was going to rape her.
