Very poor choice of opening song. Doesn't fit the vibe of the drama/story at all. They should've chosen epic and mysterious sounding music.

Yep, she made her nose smaller, and her lips look different too. It's quite obvious because she still has new (previously unreleased) work coming out now, that was filmed pre-surgery.

It's not that much of a cliffhanger. We already saw that the emperor was really not in a good state, so we can presume that he died of depression, and not from some conspiracy. The only thing we don't know is whether the freedom-loving FL is willing to become empress and be confined to the palace.

What happened to the FL from season 1? Does her character not exist in this season? She was investigating the death of her father in S1 and it ended on a cliffhanger. Did they address that at all in S2, or just abandoned that plot line completely?

Since the story takes place within a game world, most of the weirdness can be forgiven. But the ending was kind of neither here nor there. The FL managed to finish all her level 1 missions, but the ML, who is also a player/outsider, has given up and wants to die. Given its popularity (or lack thereof), I doubt there will be a 2nd season, so it feels very incomplete.

Song is called 若谋千秋 by 小时姑娘. The title roughly means "if one is to scheme for an everlasting reign."

He can control her body using Southern Yue magic. The same magic he used to restore her face and heal her injuries at the beginning.

Is this the official season 2 continuation of Duoluo Continent with Xiao Zhan and Wu Xuanyi, with different actors, or is it a reboot/separate drama?

One of the funniest dramas ever!

My favourite comedy actress. Normally I don't even like most comedy, but she's genuinely hilarious.

I find this drama a bit confusing at times. There's a lot that isn't shown on the screen, so you have to infer what happened and fill in the gaps yourself.

The story feels incomplete. By the end, the scheming/fighting between the two states is still ongoing, but they included a lot of scenes of the FL running a store and trying to make money that seemed irrelevant to the story. It was so funny when the ML's brother got hit by lightning because of her bad luck though 🤣

Some dream she had... it started off so normal and down to earth (battle with evil stepmom and stepsister; who gets to marry a prince, etc.), but then everything became weirder and weirder. It's an entertaining drama, for the most part, but all the fantasy stuff seems so far-fetched.

100% fantasy. Longyuan Continent is about as real as Tolkien's Middle Earth. Not even the names of the kingdoms are the same as anything from history.
