As I said, I actually agree that he has too much screen time. But the fact that he seems to be winning (for now) is the kind of conflict and tension that keeps storytelling interesting.
The complaints about SRQ having too much screen time I can understand, but why are people angry that he's smart and managed to pull a fast one on our leads? This is the first battle our leads have lost since their rebirth (and actually we don't know that they really lost because they could always have a Plan B that we don't know about yet). Don't we want the villain to be capable foil for our leads? It would be kinda boring if our leads won 100% of the time, no?
My nerves cannot take it. People, WTH. Wait, just wait until you see the previews. QB tells him that she is going…
I can't help but wonder... how convincing is her daddy's little girl act when she's also showing her fangs in court normally? Even if her acting is flawless, isn't it obvious that she's faking it, when she's showing her other side for everyone to see?
currently watching ep 8; why has the FL's impression of SML not changed even after knowing that he killed her…
She feels guilty towards him. Her brother killed his entire family, and she understood that making him stay by her side as a eunuch for many years made him feel humiliated and resentful.
He is actually the main villain. He led a rebellion with Consort Rou.He lost everything in the end and was branded…
Is that what happens in the novel? Man, he's a f**king idiot. In their first life, his entire family was killed because they chose the wrong side. Now he gets to live his life all over again, and he's repeating the exact same mistake.
Man Pei WenXuan do something please! am losing my shit. How I gods good name did you become prime Minister? How…
He was prime minister in his last life, and that was when he was much older. He became so influential because he took in a lot of common-born scholars who later became important court officials after the fall of the aristocracy.
In the current timeline, he's only an 8th rank minister right now. (Ranks are 1 through 9, with 1 being highest and 9 being lowest, and within each rank there's a junior and senior level, for a total of 18 levels). So he's 3rd or 4th from the bottom.
Hi guys Need Spoiler In tag Its Mention Love triangle ??How Long Eps Love triangle ???Which Eps leads Get together…
It's not really a love triangle. The 2ML likes the FL, but she only likes the ML. And at the very end we question whether he really liked her, or had ulterior motives. The leads were always together, since childhood, but they broke up because of someone's scheme. They resolve the misunderstanding and get back together in episode 7.
There is a major reveal at the end (that her friend/business partner is the mastermind behind all the crimes), but only we (the audience) know that. There's not really any kind of resolution. He doesn't get caught, our leads don't know anything, and there's not even any kind of wedding for any of the three main couples. It feels very incomplete. And yet they filled the last few episodes with lots of filler material (extra mini scenes that are cute but don't really add anything of substance).
- ML is a fake eunuch who gained the Emperor's trust, and became Keeper of the Seal, by obtaining an elixir from…
I enjoyed it. The second half is a lot better than the first half, and where all the real action happens. But we don't really get a gradual character development for the FL; in episode 14 she was still reckless, and in the next episode she's suddenly smart and strategic.
