The stupid me was expecting JAM's win :") well because as a not-so-good-dancer I have eyes and their skills are #1 clearly, their concept for finale was smart, props used cleverly, stage presence was fireee, expressions? they are queens of expressions duh. But then I realized it's korean competition and not too mention it's mnet :") Bebe is good but the rihanna performance is unexpectedly so-so, no wow factor, it's not the usual extraordinary Bebe. And the mask dance...hmm I've seen it before by a group of men dancers and with the similar costume too, or basically the same? Bebe just make it blue. So anyway it's a competition, ofc there's always the winner and the runner up, I'm just saying my opinion.

It's already 3 years and I still choked up whenever I remember this series. It is fascinating that I still remember the story, every episode, and even the beach scene from ep 5 that I really really love to the point that I can remember their dialogue. DAMNN I miss Nadao and BKPP so much ㅠㅠ

I'm not gonna talk about the storyline or about how long this series are but THIS TOD PANAPONG GUY IS REALLY SOMETHING. I swear to god this man will make it big someday, his eyes told me that.

How problematic I am to cause a misunderstanding😣 sorry I mean that cold etc is Ida's "vibes" not his actual self because I also read the manga and watch the japan's live action so I have this certain image and kuudere vibes from Ida. Of course Ida is kind but his gaze is the cold-strong-mysterious type but Gem's gaze is just too kind and sparkly(?)😭 Well, since small chillies are spicier I do have a high anticipation from Gem because again my 1st statement is merely hypothetical based on the previous series. And I do hope he can elevate his acting skills to match 4th because 4th...that bro is damn great.

hmmm imo this is meh but nice try. Love the ost but that's it.
Overall Acting 5/10, they're new so it's understandable.
Story 5/10, soap-opera-like, not MY favorite.
Videography 5/10, editing is not good esp the sunset's sky ㅠㅠ inconsistent tone, and weird + boring camera angle for many parts.
Sorry this is just my opinion.

AGREE!!! Somehow I feel bad for all of them after watching this, it's like they are telling their story. But since this is a drama I'm looking for acting, story, and chemistry but nothing, I found nothing. It's too meh to the point that their face can't even save this, but the ost did.

I see, Gmm only gives g4 great story. I don't worry about 4th bcs Aoki's character is not that far from Gun and 4th himself is just as goofy as Aoki. But Gem clearly is not that suitable for Ida, his acting skills worries me the most. I don't think his current self could bring the cold-strict-unapproachable-anti-social-but-damn-caring Ida to life. Gem's eyes (from what I've seen) can't be cold, I don't know how to explain it but there's too much kindness and "Gem" himself there :( even when he has to act cold, angry, or similar expression he just looks like...Gem, not the character.

I realize that I was being biased for 7 weeks straight and just got my sense back. First thing first I love the idea of using weatherman job here, it's still unusual in doramas. But oh my goodness gracious I am so fed up with the neverending miscommunications between 2 grown ass men like DAMMIT JUST SIT AND TALK!! Also, Mizuki is so fine and his sweet scenes with Yoh made me ignore the messy writing. I still see some plot holes and I hardly understand several parts because they use expressions that maybe only Japanese ppl understand(?) or is it mistranslation(?) well I'm not sure bcs I'm not Japanese. About the toxicity, I personally have no problem watching toxic relationship in dramas but maybe some other ppl hate it, so this drama is clearly not for everyone, this is a WARNING for anyone who'll watch this.

haaa lemme drop ma 1st comment to see if I will change my mind later after I watch all of the episodes. mmm I'm not sure about this drama actually bcs I can't forget the 2014 Kou. the 2014 Kou is still pretty much attach to my brain because he's so good and suitable as Kou, everything feels so right with him. seeing that MY Kou will be a different person is kinda weird for me, this is hard ㅠㅠ but I also don't want to see that rubbish to act as Kou again EVER, not even in the entertainment industry. 2023 Futaba on the other hand feels more like Futaba (visually) than the 2014. I set my expectation a bit higher bcs of her and I am also curious to how this 2023 Kou will execute Kou's character. Really hope this to turned out good because I really love the anime ㅠㅠ

Joong's acting is improving but Dunk is still the same, still bad :( Guys let's be fair, if they're bad just say it, stop sugarcoating things just bcs of their face, criticism is needed for them to grow and reflect. Next, the storyline is messy AND OH MY GOD pls stop trying to make something simple become overly complicated. Just where on earth did GMM find a story like this?! :(

I read that so many prefer this story than the original but why do I feel like the original story is better? This version feels like it is an incomplete puzzle, there's plot hole here and there, and ofc flow issues (as usual for KBLs). The acting for this is better, way much better than the thai, but still...Zee's gaze...uh nothing can beat that ㅠㅠ solid 7, so many rooms for improvement👌🏻
