in the webtoon most of the characters that are involved with Hee woo are fleshed out a lot more, the writer here…
Yep, i think it will work better if they have more eps, while highlighting few characters rather than bring in so many surface level character to help heewo. Example, Hee ah, if we dive into her family dynamic when they were younger and perhaps how loving they were, I would sympathize with her
They throw in so many characters but almost none of them has depth/intriguing background story :((( idk about the webtoon, perhaps it fleshed out the characters more? But the drama is just eh, all the good guy is a pure saint, no one asking "what's in for me" or afraid of dying, and no why they're so ready to seek justice. No strong emotional attachment between each other either. Other than Heewo & Cho Taesub, everyone seems like one dimensional pawn used by them.
Well, I understand if this falls into plot driven story, but even the plot doesn't give a big stake. If Heewo can't take the villain down, then what? We do not see how Taesub's choice pain people except the evil going to jail. Even when the actress news came out (see, I forget her name already), it was treated like, "oh unfortunately she died" and they move on five minutes later
Ah so sorry for the long kinda rant :((( I didn't mean to write this long bcs I really wish I can like or at least say this is an okay drama at the end, as there's Joongi, and he's good
Tho the ending wasn't so satisfying, it was better than my expectation, should have known Sunah could pull that stunt, she never fully on board with the length the bad guy committed. Also I'm just glad Yohan have his happy ending with Elijah
I just thought Jinyoung is a fine actor and Gaon is the most pitiful character, his whole life died, killed by the one he trusted the most, his life is a lie (the conman & professor), and now he needed to bear the fact that Elijah lose her only family because of him, yet it was hard for me to sympathize with him. If the writer did their job, the train wreck on ep15 last few minutes will be freaking nuclear, and I'm gonna cry for half a day instead half an hour
Why the heck is everyone making a big deal out of a child accidentally setting a place on fire. People should…
For Yohan it's not really the "crime" Elijah committed, it's that Elijah accidentally killed her parent and the fact that she blocked her memory means it was so traumatic. And bcs Yohan hid it with all his might, everyone assumed he had smth to do with it
I'm still crying 5 minutes after ep 15 ended. I've seen the cctv footage on twitter, so when Yohan broke down and pleading for Sunah not to play the video, I just cry cry cry :(( Jisung acting is always impressive
Gaon is unredeemable for many viewers, even if he fixes everything it's hard to make us forgive with only one episode left. They should reach his climax sooner, or make it a 20 eps drama. Even Jinjoo has a better arc lol
I don't know why people sees jin young not fitting for the role ,, I'm not a fan of his kpop group yet I find…
I like him overall, he's good, but sometimes not. When he got too emotional, his build up wasn't smooth, maybe it's also bcs his character arc was messy.
