True!! I have not able to move on from this couple and this couple remains at the top of my favorite couples list (followed by ZYC and HYX CP from the Sleepless Princess lol, what can I say HYX creates such amazing chemistry with her costars.)

Hello, fellow lurker!! I am also lurking here, not able to move on even months after the drama has ended.

There are 10 extra clips that youku had released after the drama. Most of them are in YT now but you can find all of them in a google drive link in the Recent Discussions section. Only the epilogue clip shared by Crown Drama really adds to the story though. But since the real strength of ARRTI lies in the small moments and details, I really enjoyed watching the clip of them watching a scary movie together.

Oh yeah, I checked after posting my comment here , I got confused between the two zls dramas. LLTG has 2 parts, not wrtw. I couldn't correct the comment since it got buried under other comments and several days passed as well. This notification helped me locate the comment.

Yes, I'm thinking of binge watching all the episodes once the eng subs are released so I'm putting TBW on hold for now. There's really no other drama that's on my radar right now so I'm in a limbo in terms of my drama watching.

I've seen him being devilish and I've also seen him being a sweet, cuddly and wholesome dad. I think, purely by aesthetics, Reba and GJ look more suited to each other, looks and build wise. I am worried about the plot but then as a viewer of Chinese dramas, one is always worried about the plot lol. Fingers crossed for a sizzling chemistry onscreen. Looks wise, it's enough to give the YAMG CP a run for its money.
I do like the chemistry of the entire cast of TBW with each other. No one sticks out and they all mesh well together in terms of their dynamics. The romantic in me is left wanting, that's it. Otherwise , I really like all the relations in the story till now.

I am looking forward to LOA ! I have a feeling that will be the lead CP of Reba that'll finally click with me because of GJ. I find Chinese dramaland interesting for that reason, when I find actors with great chemistry, I also get a reason to ship them with multiple other actors too hehe.

Poor us!! Only the first one and that too surrounded by the controversy of the muscle pack. All the concept art of posters and all definitely showed a merman in that position huhuhu

I saw a few clips of UTP and it didn't really draw me in so I never picked it up. Might reconsider now. I've also seen some clips of OAO and I did feel that silent kind of chemistry between him and Bai Lu.

For a tale about a merman, it has very less 'Blue' in the Blue Whisper lol. And now we know why hehe

Part 2 overall seems to be even better than Part 1 so, yes, I'm looking forward to that!! And this main CP too.
I'd love to see YH and LHQ as a lead couple too. I've only seen 2 dramas of Reba, TLB and TBW,and in both the dramas the chemistry between the lead couple didn't reach me (that could change for TBW,of course) so I wish to see a CP of hers with great chemistry. I know YAMG is renowned for that but somehow I'm just not drawn to it. So I'm all for YH and LHQ as a lead couple!
TBH I want to see LHQ with HYX too. I think they'd look adorable together (size difference) and they both have very expressive eyes so it'll be a treat. I recently saw the scene when she darts him a very piqued look and it's such a cute interaction that I wish to see more!!

Ah, I see. This is the first Allen Ren drama I'm watching so I will keep an eye out for that kind of chemistry from him. He did an excellent job of conveying his emotions through his eyes in the beginning when he didn't have many dialogues so I kinda get what you're seeing. Now , all that remains is to see that same spark between the lead couple

Hehehe how ironic. Come to think of it, he has only one scene in a water body, at least in part 1 . Hahaha that's interesting.

Yes, that was quite a happy news! She debuted in 2017 as a guest role and since 2018, she has been leading at least 2 dramas a year. I found her in 2020 , she was the FL of two period dramas, one of which was very popular. Last year, she had two contemporary dramas, again one of them got very popular. In fact, in 2022 , it's the first time in 3 years that she's playing a supporting role. But I'm glad because it's a great story, great production and great character for her!! Can't wait to see what she has in store in the future.
Also, we might see her new contemporary drama by the last quarter of this year since contemporary dramas don't need a lot of post production compared to period dramas.

Just wanted to leave a direct comment thanking you and all the other subbers for the excellent job you've done with TBW. I agree with PBG, the fansubs are better than what seems to be the official sub going by the previews. I might rewatch the drama on avv itself,even after the official subs come out, since the quality of the subs is sooo good!!

Aww, hope these discussions don't deter you from expressing your opinions. Many of us are not fans of the leads nor have we seen the director's previous work. Whatever your opinions on TBW, honest and clear intentioned, you're free to express them knowing that if there is any fan chaos, you're not responsible for it alone.

Agreed, I really loved his look in OAO but his styling and looks jumped 10 notches in TBW 😍😍

I believe you really don't need passionate kisses or overtly romantic scenes to show/create chemistry. Even a simple look, touch or hug can go a long way in creating chemistry. I'm following the fansubs on avv and till now I haven't felt anything of that nature between the leads.
And yet, I can feel the chemistry between li shu and chang yi, li shu and luo luo, yunhe and LHQ or even master of the valley and qing shu. And of course, the deepest bond/chemistry between luo luo and yunhe.
So I will reserve judgement on the lead couple for now.
