I agree. I keep waiting for some hint of romance or even chemistry between the leads but at this point they more like colleagues working on a project or comrades who get along together. There's no love/affection/passion in their interaction. Even if there are some sweet moments between them, they seem performative/fake and suddenly the MLs and FLs acting starts looking like acting/fake.

I've been having a problem in connecting with her acting since episode 1. Could also be because this is my first drama of hers. But the whole conflict with her father in the first episode was difficult to watch. No hate to the actress. 💜 Borahae

I agree with you. I struggled through the latest episodes because I just can't seem to connect with her acting. Her emotions aren't reaching me at all.

No I haven't watched WIFTY. A river runs through it is the only campus drama I've watched and I loved it so so much, I was obsessed with it. Never felt like picking up another campus drama after it lol.

There's lot of buzz about HYX on weibo right now, people are really loving her styling and look in Gong Yu. But some gossip accounts are also stirring trouble saying that HYX should've been the main lead, that she looks better than the FL, is more popular and is more suitable for the FL role. As a result many fans of the FL are hating on HYX. I hope this doesn't reflect badly on her and I hope this doesn't result in people throwing hate at her.

I haven't watched any of her other dramas and a matter of fact. I just decided to check this one out because I love Wang Rui Chang and that was literally my first impression of both the ML and FL. I haven't watched any other dramas of the leads before.

Looks like HYX is really going to be a part of this production. I was hoping she won't be, it's a controversial project. No official announcement yet either

She was in that one episode of the Truth with Dilraba and Guan Xiao Ting. It was cute but very small appearance. Mostly she has appeared in very small, not very well known variety shows

Should be renamed as Hidden Drama.
