Overall a nice drama. Very fun in the beginning. The end was not well executed so that was a bummer, lots of loopholes. The food part was good but the reactions got old towards the end, basically the same green screen reactions over and over.
ML was fantastic, I am so impressed by his acting, his king like presence, his micro expressions and even emotional scenes. It was done so well by him, I wish the story about his mother would have been properly wrapped up.
Yoona was okay for me, she really shines in some scenes, so natural in her expressions and even the comedy worked out well for me. I just don't feel any chemistry between her and her male costars where Yoona is concerned. I was feeling lovey dovey feelings from the ML but I didn't believe till the very end that FL loved him back.
I think it’s not a problem for her to get second FL or support roles or even FL in romcom small budget drama,…
Some actors belong to wealthy agencies and have better connections in the industry and are able to get many scripts and opportunities. Some like HYX belong to smaller agencies which don't have those kind of opportunities and resources.
True, I've heard from AvenueX that it's difficult for actors to get work in their industry since there are so many people. So it's good that she's getting work. But I hope her talent is recognised and she gets bigger projects as the FL soon.
I really enjoyed reading your review, although I do disagree with some points while completely agreeing with others, I must say, TPOB has more logical plot holes than any dramas I've seen this year. It's curious to me that you cited TPOB as an example of good writing, but like you said , we all have our own tastes and likes.
Out of her recent 4 magazine photoshoots (demuse, respire, playground and knight), the knight magazine photoshoot is my favourite of all. She looks soo beautiful in it, the clothes and makeup are on point and the quality of the photos is also amazing.
She has been getting a lot of magazine shoots. And while I'm happy for her for that, I really want to see her get signed for a new drama as female lead.
she was so pretty in Moon lovers. She looks quite aged now like in her late 30s or early 40s...
Yes this is the first time it's so obvious to me that an actress had work done. Her nose and mouth looks so different. She was definitely prettier in moon lovers and in her SNSD music videos.
I hope this is better than TPOB , that drama had a lot of plotholes.
To each their own I guess. For me, the plot started out great but quickly devolved into any generic romcom with a meandering plot that kept looping in their domestic life. The deaths of the villains were funnily written and directed, the characters were inconsistent in their motivations and the politics was laughable. The acting was okay but the FL's acting did not work for me. The best thing about the drama was its styling, makeup and hair because they all look beautiful in it.
