On his weibo, I saw something related to Zhang Wanshi. Does anyone know if it's a new role or is it something else? Because the styling for that post is droolworthy. π
Tang Xiao Tian just towers over everyone. It's so cute. Thank you for the links.
Yes, he's very convincing as an antagonist, drips malice literally. And the other characters are also afraid of him, especially the girls, which makes it even more believable.
I love that they're literally standing like a descending staircase, height wise from tallest to the shortest , at the beginning of the promo. It's a funny visual lol π
I didn't mean Love Never Fails, I meant Reading Bones drama. She even did Irreplaceable after LNF, which was okay. But now that she has wrapped a drama in which she is FL, i thought that would just keep on developing her trajectory. SFL role at this point feels like a step back again. I don't think it's a well charted career plan for her. I hope her recent popularity with HDY helps to launch her the way Lu Yu Xiao, Yang Yu Tong, Dai Lu Wa and Xu Ro Han's prospects improved. They were also not that well known but they're doing exclusively lead roles now. I hope HYX's career planning is also done properly.
In the middle of watching ep 1 and I have to say, the FL took the whole transmigration thing in her stride. I feel there should have been some transitional scene where she experiences a bit more shock, fear or even some uncertainty. Nope, she dives right into the scheming and the plot kind of bulldozes over her supposedly unexpected transmigration. She must be really made up of stern stuff, our FL, that even travelling into a historic story leaves her unfazed hehe.
Yes, she is most probably second FL as Chen Du Ling is the lead. We have to wait for the confirmation to know whether she is second or third lead, in fact π her career trajectory is so weird to me. I don't know why she'd go back to being the SFL after being the FL in her last drama. She should fire her agent and agency
Overall a nice drama. Very fun in the beginning. The end was not well executed so that was a bummer, lots of loopholes. The food part was good but the reactions got old towards the end, basically the same green screen reactions over and over.
ML was fantastic, I am so impressed by his acting, his king like presence, his micro expressions and even emotional scenes. It was done so well by him, I wish the story about his mother would have been properly wrapped up.
Yoona was okay for me, she really shines in some scenes, so natural in her expressions and even the comedy worked out well for me. I just don't feel any chemistry between her and her male costars where Yoona is concerned. I was feeling lovey dovey feelings from the ML but I didn't believe till the very end that FL loved him back.
I think itβs not a problem for her to get second FL or support roles or even FL in romcom small budget drama,…
Some actors belong to wealthy agencies and have better connections in the industry and are able to get many scripts and opportunities. Some like HYX belong to smaller agencies which don't have those kind of opportunities and resources.
