Tq for recommending. Might give it a try since it's only 4 eps.......while waiting for hyx next drama.
It's a really cute and sweet drama, no major conflict. It can be watched either as 12 episodes which are 15 mins each or 4 episodes which are 1 hr each.

I loved watching her from unforgettable love and I can’t wait to see the interactions between her and dilraba!…
Fingers crossed. Can't wait to see her next CP. I don't think her character has a love story in the novel though. But I could be wrong.

She actually does not do more than 1 or 2 projects a year. Last year, she had 2 dramas come out. This year again 2 , unforgettable love and A River Runs Through It. Maybe it's a policy of hers, dunno. She said in an interview that she wants to be an actor, not a star. She's in it for the long haul. Maybe that's why she's not churning out many dramas, focusing on quality rather than quantity. But that's just my guess. Reba and her look so cute in the bts clips of TBW, always chatting. And yes, I've heard her character is quite a significant one, even for a support role. I'd hoped that she also had her own love story in TBW, she is just so good at the whole CP thing. (I am still not over her CPs of 2020 and 2021 i.e. TSP, UL and ARRTI) Don't know if she does or not though.

Guys, if you liked Guo Xiao Ling, Xiaoju's roommate who writes romance novels, she is the FL in Hold On My Lady, a sweet short form drama on YouTube which is only 4 1hr long episodes. Short and sweet and excellent chemistry between the ML and FL.

The ML is really good at acting. I stuck around for him mostly. The FL has the known affliction which plagues most Chinese actresses and that is a constant pouty face which quickly became annoying. Overall, it's an okay drama to pass time

Understand your POV. It’s easy to blame FL because as viewer, we knew exactly how each characters in the drama…
She did intentionally hurt him when she wrote CL's name, I mean that was her plan to get him to move kn from her so he doesn't have false hope. But she knew it would hurt him. So there was this one instance and of course, shiyi, being her best friend, saw through that ploy but it did hurt him. But I can think of only that one example and it was not because of her feelings for CL, even though she used his name for her plan.

Tencent didn't even trying.. why her hair also looks like modern dramas with the highlighters hair colours that…
Yes, I know some things about how the china dramaland functions and honestly, it's so unfortunate. Good dramas get sidelined in favour of mediocre or bad dramas just because of this whole 'traffic' oriented business model. Yes, iqiyi, youku and tencent have stopped the VIP services now, there was a notice to that effect the other day. I really hope this will stop the flood of mediocre dramas that we see in china so that better stories get to be told. China comes out with so many dramas and only a handful of them have quality. It's such a waste of money, resources, time and effort of hundreds of people who work on a given drama.
Like the example of Our Times that you gave, better in quality but suffering in views. So unfortunate

Title A River Runs through It Spoiler
honestly i started to get sick of the fl, she was just so obsessed with cl for no reason. She claimed it was because…
I am not going to try to change your opinion but I do want to set a few things straight. I think she was hung up on cl till ep 27 was because he helped her, he was kind, gentle and outstanding in studies and sports and the biggest reason being false hope. She thought he liked her too in the beginning (and she says this to Shiyi too, what if cl likes her one day) . In ep 29 if you see, she says they've been together for 2 years, I've already let go long time ago, I just feel uncomfortable around them.
The only time Xiaoju has gotten upset over CL and taken it out on Shiyi is when CL stands her up at the cinema. The biggest reason for that is Shiyi hurt her with his words when she was already down and insecure and feeling the brunt of being stood up by CL. Plus, she already knew that if she ever tells shiyi about her crush on cl, shiyi will say she wants a pie in the sky or that cl is too good for her and she is aiming too high (she says this to Tao in the previous episode and that's exactly what shiyi said to her at the cinema even though he didn't know it was cl) One cannot be blind about Shiyi's faults in the whole thing. Xiaoju alone was not responsible for their complicated relationship.
Apart from this, I cannot recall any other incident when Xiaoju was upset over cl and 'took it out' on Shiyi (which again I wouldn't call rude when he literally goaded her temper and so she lost her temper at him because of Shiyi's words) The only other times she was upset over CL around shiyi was when she was drunk in ep 15 and the fireworks on hilltop scene (and she wasn't rude to him in either times)
And the only other time she lost her temper and could be seen as rude to Shiyi was when she confronted him about the online post, which had nothing to do with CL and everything to do with the misunderstanding that Shiyi himself created in the library by saying he will make everyone know she is his girlfriend. (Which again he didn't mean at the time but xiaoju took it at face value and she later apologized too)

I have one more question - did Shi Yi ever get to know that xiao ju had called him and shen dou picked it and…
Actually, throughout the dramas there are many things that are not told to us directly but we come to know later on that the characters already knew (I think we're to logically assume how they knew, it's a storytelling technique that's used in a lot of books and movies)
For egs, how did shiyi know that the reason Xiaoju was singing a song was to confess to someone (we have to assume that tao/huang jun told him) or that when shiyi and xiaoju have that beautiful hug scene in ep 19, we later come to know that shiyi knows about his blood phobia before that scene. It's not directly shown to us. We have to assume certain things by way of logic and character development. Maybe that's why, in the last episodes, they don't outright show a lot of things, like did cl tell shiyi about xxj liking him and then helping him set up that surprise at Tao's wedding.... Was it Tao who told him? Like logical assumptions can be made even if they're not directly shown.

Is there good secondary couples?
Miss the Dragon. The only thing good about that drama is the second lead couple.

trying to find a reason not to drop the drama :/ i really liked the beginning but now it feels boring, i wanted…
There isn't a lot of misunderstanding... Only the main secret of the plot.

They never dated but they always dated. They got together in the last episode so there was no break up😅. But…
Haha I really like that line.

I'm the same, I need some good recs to move on but I bet it'll be hard to top ARRTI especially with my current…
I haven't watched remembrance of things past but I want to. Need to be in the right mindset for it. A short form drama would be wonderful to watch before binging through all the episodes of ARRTI again.

Whoever changed the profile picture of WRC, good move and good choice. He's dashing, good looking in this current…
I was going to post something about this too. He really looks good in pastels, i think the earlier pic was too young looking.

YES! I think her acting is fine but I just can't stand her voice at times. Think her acting career could go much…
I just can't get past her deliberate and forced cuteness to even appreciate her acting. In a love so romantic, her character has a questionable arc but at least she doesn't have that pout and exaggerated gestures that i saw in I've fallen for you and moonlight, so I liked her acting in that.I immediately stop watching when I come across any FL doing that forced cute thing. It's cringe.

Please suggest dramas to get over ARRTI. The current crop of dramas seem so unimpressive that I'm really having a hard time moving on to a new drama. I am not a fan of youth dramas (ARRTI was an exception) or crime/thriller dramas. Rest everything is fine, have partial preference towards historical dramas though.
P. S. : I will be checking out Wang Rui Chang's newest Dear Diary. Just waiting for it to finish. As a rule, I never watch on going dramas, love to binge through a series (again ARRTI is the only exception to that rule)
