As much as I'm pissed off at the ex-husband, I'm equally pissed at Jian Bing, why isn't she shutting Xue Yiming down or at least snapping back at him for what he's trying to do. He's going this far because she isn't speaking up at all for Sheng Yang. Shout at him or slap him or something. And for the love of god, we have like 11 more episodes left, give us some screen time with the leads. I really don't give a damn about other characters now.

I hope Jian Bing will slap some sense into her ex-husband. Also why do I feel like there are too many side characters and couples? I honestly don't want to see any scenes between Xue Yiming and Shanshan, it feels super weird watching them together. The male lead barely has much screen time in his own show lol.

I read in a YouTube comment about people saying that they've already read and finished the novel. I looked for it online but it only has 78-79 chapters up, and is currently ongoing. So is the story already over?
