Is this a remake of a show or am I overthinking things...? I remember a show/movie where they had the same kind of plot, the ML and FL both had their SOs but they meet each other and a love interest begins to develop between them...
Kinda surprised that they're introducing the abusive father back in so early...and not keeping that for Ep 9-10 to initiate the breakup after dating scenario between the leads. Makes me feel hopeful that they won't be using any of those breakup/parting away tropes in the last few episodes.
Welp I guess this is a good example for a drama where the rating shouldn't justify if I should watch it or not. Of course I'm seeing a lot of reviews from people who didn't like it, honestly it was just a straight up 10/10 drama for me and prolly is one of the best KDramas of this year in my list and will be in the future too.

Yeah I want him to suffer a more humiliating loss too. Also I know it's just a drama but how do you win such a big project and then lose the only supply channel you have to your competitor Zhuling again? Is that not ridiculous lol.
Guilty conscience? He probably took some cheap shortcuts that led to the stadium collapse and ML has likely always…
Maybe because he didn't want his Dad to get married so early and then suddenly he's told to take care of his little brother and hide his real name and what the father did. ML's character probably did really well in studies and work and the stepfather started belittling Pei Junior because of how well ML was doing.
Or maybe the "trying to steal from the safe" story, he thinks that he came into the Pei family and wanted to steal from his father or take advantage of him thus his hatred towards ML - it would explain why the ML also kinda wanted financial independence.

Well there's a heartbreak emoji marked on Ep 23-24 so I'm guessing that's where they're breaking up or maybe getting some distance between each other? I remember watching a scene in the trailer where she says she doesn't know what he has in his heart anymore and a scene where she's crying looking at him from afar - so looks like there is some angst between our main leads in the future. I don't think there will be a downfall for Pei as such lol, they're prolly going to redeem his character by perhaps making him help ML with discovering the truth because I think he's in the dark too and oppressed by his own father.
So I guess the reason for them breaking up in Ep 23-24 will be because of ML's past, apparently everyone blames his father for the accident that happened and FL's family was involved in it too. She's probably going to realize his true identity whilst he's still trying to find out the true culprit who is most probably Pei Zhen's father? Damn I feel bad for the ML, it's not even his fault. And he's already trying to not fall head in love with the FL because he thinks he doesn't deserve happiness from preview of Ep 15. I'm guessing the FL will somehow convince him, they'll start dating and then breakup around 23-24.

I'm a still a little bewildered by the ending of Ep 2 but I'm guessing that what we see in the last minute is just an imagination of how the trio would have been if the friend was still alive?
We've seen this guy's cameo in Taxi Driver 2 and now we're seeing the duo's cameo in Dynamite Kiss. So atp you'll give us all the cameos and everything but not Season 2 of ODW...? Just why....
