After watching all cut scenes and watching ep 22 preview I think the woman FL mistakes as the new love interest of the ML is no one but his mother. If I might well recall when the ML sort of coaxes FL to meet a little fan, nontheless the fan is her grandpa.
While they are trapped in the room because theire grandpa locks them down from outside they talk about their families and he explains their parents got divorced each one have new family so they didn't have time for him, thatw why he was raised by his grandfather, maternal or paternal one it doesn't get explained.

I think it's not just the watermelon season, I think eating fruit while gathering to watch tv, o in family meeting its very common, like the american or spanish meetings (Spain as my homeland country) instead of eating chips, junk food they gather and eat lost of fruit.
I know that because while watching the Football World Cup games my brother and father prefered to eat chips, drink coke, martini....whereas I make my arrangements with tangerines and apples.
Watermelon season is Summer season, and nowadays buy fruits out of is normal season skyrocketing their prices.

So I see being thrown easily into cancel culture based on mere accusations with no proof its the usual. What I see it's the same FL in both dramas.
If I were a producer I would fear if this actress is a bad omen for any production

As an outisder of the film industry but as a viewer I think those mini cuts are done on purpose, those can be leaked away with the solely purpose to create such a big hype and lure viewers. Then when some viewers are so into the drama it's too late to back out.
I wonder when this cat and mouse game approachs its end. There's a sying in my country, those are burning the candle for both sides, They're narrowing and decresing patience and when there's 0 left, they'll be collapsing big time.

That's great, I wonder if you could gather all those tidbits in a related post so people unable to put two pieces together can get some kind of perspective. Those cut scenes really does affect teh narrative

I agree with you as I have zerp knowledge on editing movies, videos...hoewever as a viewer I can tell teh editing is so bad, sometimes two scenes doens't have nothing to to with each other nor they're related. I think it's more likely due to the "mandatory" viewer chinese censorship office, they are comanded to trim down passionate kiss, anything could possibly arise protests...

You're right, iit was indeed some sort of rage because in the "Romance of The little forest" the 1st kisss the main leads share it cut from the episode. They erased any conext as to wahy viewers seemd to notice there were some unfinished plots.
Later it was see in youtube an BTS video or tik tok, ...deleted scenes that explain all the due context

Someone veru into c-dramas said moths ago, to avoid draggy dramas, unnecesary costs ...the chinese censorhip bureau; or sorts comands very tv drama recentrly trimmered down up tp no more than 40 episodes.
So that some c-drmas have to seasons to fit the croteria and requirements.

What I love the most about BTS's are the bloopers, thats the funny part

I’ve just read inYoukunWebiste or in a twitter or weibo , there’s an extra episode, dunno if it’ll be just a BTS medley and cut scenes, like the proposal one.

k-dramas, I stumbled upon them by happenstance, but as far as I watch quite a few, except for 2 or three with 2nd or 3rd season; they don’t use to make spin-offs. I might be wrong, just speaking my point
