SML isn't free og guilt at all. She stepped into something between main leads, she knows deep who he really likes the FL, his toughts and kisses are for the FL only. She doesn't have self respect and watched the red flags, Sure the ML is kind of a jerk by using the SFL to get some reaction out of the FL, wether is jealousy, indiference or whatever. In fact when she rejected him after he confessed his feelings, I think he just backed down a bit, regrouped himself and devised a plan to get back at FL for good or worse.
In fact his plan is simple and easy to accomplush, he got a woman who didn't want to take off the blindfold and used her to make the main female lead jealous

I follow a youtuber and watch his weekly dramas reviews, whcih in one of them he talked about this drama and the reasons due to the airing delayment. He said the chinese censorship broadcasting office wanted to make this drama wiped out the kissing scenes, but if this turns out to be true it will be a huge blow to a drama tagged as a romance one, nonetheless I truly hope it doesn't turns out like "A romance in the little forest" when the heinous editing almost completely wiped out the kissing scenes, leaving all them to BTS and VIP content.
He also commented a Weibo post where the channel aired the drama somehow acknowledged, the issue. Being said, let's see how the chemistry between main leads is heading to
