It's so much fun watching the Jiejies and there are a lot of them. Official Youtube channel with proper english subtitles already. This drama is surprising good, I have this drama on my watchlist since it's release date but keep putting it aside because I got slightly traumatized with every cdrama that has "Love" on it's title 😅. Gladly I accidentally clicked it while browsing IQIYI and decided to just give it a try, who would've thought that I'll be hooked with it in it's first episode? 😂
Anyway here's my opinion about the drama. After all that happened GREED is really a sinful thing, it could kill a whole nation. War happened because of the greedy rulers, can't they just mind their own businesses and be peaceful for their people hayst... I'm also glad that A-Mai can hold her ground. I don't know why but I'm actually happy that they're not together. Well I was hoping that they will end up together sitting on the throne side by side but it's true that the throne is not for A-Mai, at least for now. Tang Shaoyi's death was so unfair ðŸ˜, although Chen Qi deserved to die but at the end of the day he's just a victim also, he was that kind hearted brother before to A-Mai. The Lin siblings are wise, luckily they're not vicious as their father. Chang Yuqing is really a gentleman, with him controlling the Beimo army there will be no war as long as him and A-Mai are alive. Now A-Mai is finally free from the burdens in her heart that she has been carrying since she was a kid. Seeing her in white outfit traveling the world is really what she deserves.

As a viewer who watched the show from the beginning of it, do they really have to state the whole reason of why they did it one by one? "Selfish Gold Diggers" really? if LS was your daughter are be able to watch your beloved daughter suffer? The reason why Mother Li tried so hard was to find men who can protect and provide for her daughters isn't it? They were obviously guilty for what they did to him but all of that is Yang Xian's sake. Do you think YX can stand up again without the pressure they imposed to him? Yes they tricked him but it's for him to learn a valuable lesson, that business is not easy. Calling Li Family gold diggers, where they're the one who prepared the money for him, CA is only the mediator between them because they know CA can handle him. Do you know why Li family went that far? It's because LS is already in love with him, if LS doesn't have feelings for that guy they won't even bother to play as bad guys to him during his down. The Li family is the only family who is brave enough to lend a hand for Yang Family. No offends but they didn't even mean to marry Le Shan to him in the first place, therefore they're not after his wealth.

Yes, Li family went too far by pushing YX away but knowing their reason for doing so, you will understand why they did that. They not only did that for LS but also for YX himself, after all he was that spoiled and privileged boy. Now that he lost everything how can he start strong again? Li family pushed his limit for his best. Also YX clearly understood their intention after CA gave that whole pack of golds and things to him.
You know what's the hardest part after finishing one good drama? Finding a new one. 🥹 It's really hard to say goodbye to Perfect Match.
I'm not gonna rank the couples I will just give my opinions.
Shou Hua and Du Yang Xi. The "Respect" couple. DYX is young but his every move is very calculated luckily his perfect match is Daniang, she can counterattack his every move 😅. His endearment call for SH is like music to my ear, Jiejie. I remember I replayed that first time he calls her this. I feels like he is calling me 😂.
Fu Hui and Fan Liang Han. The soft hearted couple. I'm always curious on how this match was made. I hated FLH in the start of this but later loved him after he change. Luckily FH's family went to Bianjing or else she will always be living as how she used to lived with her husband, full of jealousy and uncertainty. FH is the kind of sister that will tolerate you and sneakily help you, she and FLH are really a perfect match as this boy will always sneak out information from the SILA (son-in-law alliance) to his wife. 😄
Kang Ning and Chai An. The business minded couple. When it comes to ideas and strategies this two really got this trait which lead to their bickering and competition in the start of their story. I also disliked CA before because of the things he said to FH and about KN (and Li family) . Like how dare he?! 🤨 KN, I like her satisfying ideas. Both are business minded. Unfortunately we didn't get to see their kids (I think they have twins).
Hao De and Shen Hui Zhao. The sweetest couple. I almost hated him when HD was going home crying her eyes out luckily he rushed to find her and and clothed her foot. I cannot blame him for his attitude towards HD in the beginning because he doesn't have idea about it at all. His temporary amnesia was really a blessing in disguise, it made him and HD closer to each other. I was also surprised on HD's cleverness and her assisting her husband on the cases. I must say they are sweetest couple.
Le Shan and Yang Xian.The chaotic couple. YX really got in to my nerves on the earlier episodes I hated everything about him.Kidnapping LS on her wedding day? and people in the comments here blaming LS for her attitude towards YX, come on. He needed to hear those words and to be treated coldy by her family-in-law to wake him up. Luckily he redeemed himself and got his old self back, I'm happy for him. LS on the other is my favorite sister, she beats people who deserves it with her wonder weapon, the most satisfying beating for me was YX's friend 🤣.
Qiong Nu and Li Fan (Zhe Cong). The united again couple. The interaction was short but full of love. You can really feel the love and sincerity they have for each other. How I wish they have given longer exposure but still thankful that my kindhearted Qiong Nu found her again love, she's not going be alone anymore.
Now I'm rating the families-in law.
Of course number 1 is the Li Family. Mother Li is the best mother and mother-in-law you could ever found. When her husband died she never married again instead she focused on her daughters (including QN), I can't imagine how hard it is for her raising them alone. As a MIL, she love all her SIL equally without holding grudges towards them (admit it or not the husbands really did wronged their wives in the beginning of the marriage) and only wants best for them so they will treat her daughters well. Now that her son is back her family is complete and have a 6 Perfect Match couple.
Second is the Du Family. As a stepmother she always treated DYX as her real son and treated him well. She only wants SH as her DIL and cried for son to bring back SH into their home.
Third is the Shen Family. The FIL and the GMIL is good, although they schemed but it ended well and SHZ got his love of his life because of them. The GMIL treated HD so well.
Fourth family is the Fan Family. Although I don't remember much about this family but at least they are not so bad.
Fifth Family is the Chai Family. The Chai mother was too above her head, like mother like son. Well at least she change and was actually willing to kneel for her son.
Last is the Yang Family. The family that is full of bad people. I wonder where they went after YX went to sea. Did they go with him? Also who is that man among the crowd in the tossing of ball for marriage that calls LS sister-in-law?
Didn't you expect this? well as for me I have always expecting this attitude of her, that's her she's young but…
When her brothers-in-law are inside the room with Yang Xian, she look concerned for him. In that part you can already see how will her attitude change later.
