You don't know how happy I am when the three finally appeared in the screen together. The director really made us wait for that moment. I actually like the idea on how they arranged this drama and gave the main characters the screentime they deserved. I was confused at the first episodes because I only saw one protagonist all the time, I later realized the intention and somehow enjoyed it and it actually made me understand each main character better. I understand why they make the color grading this way, I didn't like it at first but my eyes have adapted to it later on. The acting are good especially when they act angry and have their veins showing, you can literally feel the tension (the crying scenes are a bit off but it's still fine). That's all for the drama review but I have question (or concern). Why does the Wang Yu Yan character belong to Main Leads? I don't see this character fit as Main Lead if there's one character that should belong to Main Leads it should be Murong Fu. That's all, enjoy watching.
Seated. I've been looking forward for this drama since I finished You are my hero. Bai Jingting as Wang Xin is coming to steal our hearts once more. Of course I'm also excited to see new faces and discover their other works
I have forgotten, too. Thank goodness for the super long recap of S1 in ep1.
but why do I feel like the recap description of the characters are somewhat opposite 😅. 1 more thing, I really feel the heaviness of this s2 so I'm temporarily stop watching it, right now I'm looking for light cdrama so I have "antidote" already after I finish the s2.
I long forgotten the story of season1 ðŸ˜. I'm planning to watch it again because of season 2 or should I just continue to watch the s2 w/out rewatching s1? Any advice plss.
Finally a time traveler who used modern knowledge in his current era. I'm sticking to it until the end because I want to know how he will comeback to modern era but unexpectedly the deleted ending scene make me hope for a season 2. He came back to Tang dynasty maybe 5 years after but there is a man observing him if this drama became hit during 2018 or 2019 maybe it has season 2 already.
As I said he applied modern knowledge to Tang dynasty era and that's what makes this drama interesting, although there are so many prolonged dialogues (you can skip it, it's not so important).
Don't be discourage to watch just because few people said the drama fell from ep17, just to tell you, it is when the drama become more interesting as real conflicts are starting to build up thus you will also start to feel the intensity of every scenes.
Happy watching everyone, just scroll down and you will see from other comment the link for the deleted ending scene.
All I can say is, this drama is my version of 2023. I never cried so hard just for a drama before but the episodes 14 and 15 made my eyes swollen for a whole day.
Everyone if you want to watch this don't expect of a high quality cgi and editing because this drama was made maybe 6 or mor years ago and only got the chance to be aired this year. So if you're new to cdrama land you might get dissapointed by the editing.
It's not revailed yet, even in the donghua version his father is not revealed still. The donghua is still on going though. I just hope they'll continue the story in live action as well. The Live action is still on part1 meanwhile the donghua is already done with part2.
