What dramas have 9.5? I can't find it. The highest rating on mdl for Chinese drama is 9.1. The highest for a korean is 9.4, but it is just one drama and it is not historical, so it would be weird to compare a chinese costume drama with a korean modern one.

You can check my watchlist and find out that cheesy and smutten dramas are actually not my type, unlike yours btw. You gave 9s and 10s to Eternal love, lost you forever, love o2o, only for love (lol) and you dare to suggest that I would prefer smth cheesy ans smutty? I also loved unchained love like you, not that drama WAS funny, but as for Dafeng I don't see what is so "warm, funny, well-written" about it. The thing with confusing two people was overused by Shakespeare and has been outdated ever since. As for main character fighting for women, I've seen it performed way better and less manipulative towards viewers.

What does the word "banger" mean in your understanding?

I'm on 16 ep and I would say it has been barely watchable. Should I keep wasting my time? Will it get way better than now?

I think it might be a good idea in case editing wouldn't be perfect and if there are some omitted scenes. It won't be that noticeable because of the similar looks

Personally, I just don't really like his looks. I might be quite superficial but visuals are very important to me in c-dramas. Talent is important too of course, but only as much as looks. Obviously it's all very subjective, everyone has their own tastes and preferences. I don't find ML attractive enough, but still I'll give this drama a chance, cause the director usually doesn't have flops and because I find Bai Lu both talented and beautiful. Hope ML will grow on me. ☮️✌️🕊️

There aren't many Chinese actors whom I really dislike, but for some weird reason I can't even look at RJL without disgust, honestly don't know why. And he keeps starring with my favourite actresses 😭. Dilireba, Bai Lu, Landy Li... Poor me💔 Oh, how I wish I felt different towards him and could give this drama a chance for LL' sake. Her ML in Starry Love wasn't nice one either, but at least I could bear to look at him without vomiting 🙈

LXY ugly????? 😱 Are you delusional? He is one of the most attractive chinese actors. Have you seen his nose and eyelashes? They are gorgeous! IMO he is way more handsome than RJL and CY who are also in HR
