Boring, predictable, uneventful. Horrible ost, I really dislike songs in english in C-dramas, they destroy the atmosphere for me. I expected something as great as other dramas with 9 ratings. Ok, it's just a fluffy romcom, I get it, but still it's not the best one I've seen. And there is nothing more than a romcom, no other important plots at all. So plain and simple, I watched the eps before going to sleep, cause this drama helped better than insomnia pills. Among the nice stuff I can only name the FL relationship with her brother and her parents. She has a very nice family. But I didn't like the leads. The ML is not crushable imo, even the basketball guy was better. And the FL seemed autistic in some scenes, reminded me of the extraordinary attorney Woo🙈

Why can't I discuss actresses and their looks which is one of the most important thing about them besides the talent of course? Where am I wrong? She does look way better in real life than she does in dramas. Is it not true?

Firstly, there is no need to get personal. People are allowed to have their own opinion and if it doesn't match yours, it doesn't necessarily make people "shallow" or "immature". What happened to the pluralism of opinions? We are all here to discuss dramas, yes, but it would be naive to ignore the fact that chinese showbiz is very lookist. And if someone doesn't like the way chinese showbiz is or doesn't like to read filtered criticisms of one of the actresses, than there is no need to watch dramas or read comments, coz, as you well put "we live only once".
Calling complete strangers "shallow" for not agreeing with them, now that's what I call being "judgemental".

Tenkpm's answer is Okay and I respect it. I wish I could follow her advice, but I tend to watch dramas with my favourite actors/actresses, dramas with high scores and dramas with interesting plot even if I don't like the looks of some of the leads. Hey, wow, I guess I'm not that shallow after all 🤔.

I finally started to like Zhao Lusi's acting, but her looks is still not my cup of tea 😪. She looks better in real life, why is she not as attractive in dramas? Why can't cameramen find her better angles, she is best shot from above, not from below angles. And what is always wrong with her brows? It's also desirable to use more make up in her case... 2d part was draggy in last episodes, the plot was rather boring, so I started to notice her physical flaws. Her swollen face seemed almost unbearable to watch in some scenes. Her beautiful profile pic on mdl looks nothing like her in this drama. Lusi's success is kinda surprising in lookist China showbiz.

She didn't commit suicide in "Cry me a sad river". It had more or less HE for her character....

If you think that men can't be devoted lovers, who support their loved ones and help them to achieve their goals and that to expect men to behave like that is unrealistic, than maybe it is you who have a low opinion of men and do men bad and not the creators of this drama?

I don't understand your problem and why you think there is something wrong with your moral compass. Wu Lei is 23, he is not a minor, he is an adult. Even if you are twice or thrice his age there is nothing wrong with appreciating his talent and looks. Besides it's not like you are going to stalk him or write dirty things to him like older guys do to way younger women, cause that is disgusting and there is something wrong with the moral compasses of that kind of men. So if you want to respectfully admire Wu Lei and his body without disturbing him in any way, then I think that you shouldn't stop yourself and you shouldn't fill your conscience with guilt because of it. There is nothing wrong and there is no need to be ashamed or "have a chat about your moral compass".

Hope it airs asap, can't wait. And before it airs I'm done with twitter🙈. Melons like this are gonna bring me to an early grave😖

They did well, but the song stinks so bad. Not my cup of tea at all. I can't bear listening to it even if its performed by them. They look cute and all, but does anyone really like that kind of 'music' and would listen to it even if it wasn't sung by GJ and LYN?

5 years is not a huge deal. Personally I think of people who are 5 years younger/older than me as people around my age. Both leads are in their twenties for goodness sakes. It's not Rational life or The forbidden flower with 20 years age gaps. Btw if it was a guy who was 5 years older I'm pretty sure there would be no tag about the age gap. For example, Reset. Great drama and all, really loved it. But the actor is about 10 years older than the actress and there is no tag about that. Seems weird. Either no tags for either gender being older, or tag all of them.

They have a law that celebrities should be good examples for their fans and should avoid scandals.

Since when 8 is a low rating? It might not be the highest, but to call it low is kinda weird...

I think that no language is useless. Especially not the language of Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov and Tarkovsky. To be able to read and watch their masterpices in original language is priceless.

But I guess this is not the place to discuss the perks of foreign languages and definetely not the place to discuss politics...
BTW I really don't understand what is so sensitive about the LANGUAGE and what atrocities has Russian language done to you apart for being "useless". ✌️
